Great premise, lackluster execution. Pacing was too fast, something I never say. Characters lacked chemistry and the random dirty talking felt forced and the novel would’ve been fine without it. Much needed representation and diversity felt forced and tokenistic. Overall a skip. Which is a shame because the premise was awesome....more
