Jessica walks into Dr. Adam West’s office, and definitely leaves with more than she expects. This book does get you right out of the gate and takes you for a wild ride the entire time, in more ways than one. Dr. Feelgood very much is the grumpy, touch her and d!e, overprotective type. Jessica is shocked tp find herself in the position she is in, and how quickly it becomes so easy to open herself up to him.
I really thought I wouldn’t be too surprised by much in the book, but Lexi did keep several twists and turns up her sleeve. It was great to have this mix of things all woven together into a book. She walked the line between romance, completely unhinged, off the charts (pun intended) spicy sections, and “what did I just read so well. I hope this is headed to audiobook version, because I love to hear books like this come to life.
It is a dark, forbidden medical romance, so read those TWs. It might not be for you. That’s always ok, and protecting yourself comes first. ...more

Chloe did a wonderful job of drawing us an image of Brittany, and building the story between her and her brother, Cam, all through out the book. His best friend, Asher, is the epitome of a bad boy. He is also the star of the rugby team. Brittany doesn’t know this when she stumbles into a bar in the middle of rainstorm to escape some danger. Little did she know the danger she was running straight into.
Cam helped set up the interview for Brittany with the team’s coach, since Brittany had done a fantastic job training Cam and getting him into better shape. This is a huge job opportunity for her. When Asher walks into her office, she feels the walls closing in. Cam and Asher are best friends. He definitely has a “do not touch my sister stance with his friends. Tensions will heat up, a protective brother will watch with an eagle eye, some dangerous family dynamics, and a clause in her contract only complicated it all.
I really loved watching the push and pull of Brittany and Asher. I also love seeing how Cam’s eyes get opened to all that his sister has gone through for the sake of the big brother she has always looked up to. If you love sports romances, you will want to pick this up and read it.
Thank you Chloe for allowing me to be a part of the ARC team. This review is my honest opinion. ...more

Once again, we follow Tate and Chance’s POV, with the addition of Aether’s POV. We already knew that Tate was strong, but seeing her go through all of the training and obstacles that she goes through was both motivating and a struggle. The politics are still at play, just in a different way. I am head over heels for Aether, but still think there is so much more to learn there. His patience and support, swoon!!
Chance’s journey is a different one, and is difficult in its own right. This book really goes through personal growth, accepting found family, fates mates, and the never ending battle of good vs evil. Once again, the spice is there while not taking over the book. It is kicked up a notch, especially when you can add in reading thoughts, sometimes at the worst (or best) times.
I am still reeling from this book. It releases May 8th, and I’m already wanting the next book!!
Thank you so much to Rebecca for allowing me to be a part of the ARC team, with the only expectation that my review would be open and honest....more

Tate is the FMC, and she is tough. She goes through so much, but does not let it slow her down. Part of what she goes through does separate her and Chase, one of the MMCs. The book is dual POV between the two of them. The world building is fabulous. The spice will definitely keep you warm. ...more
