Stewart's mom died a year ago, and Stewart really misses her. Ashley's dad is alive but he is gay and has a boyfriend named Michael. The two families; Stewart's and Ashley's are united and they try to get along in home and school. they face many challenges.
I read this book because the author came to our school and read some of the story and I liked it. So, I bought a signed copy and started to read it.
I finshed the book because many parts of the book was so intense that you had to read more you couldn't stop there.
