I hate the writing and the pacing so much it's like reading a first draft. Like she knows where she wants certain things to happen but she didn't take the time to write better scenes or plot points so everything is so rushed and jumbled and I hate reading it so much. And Holy shit don't get me started on the marathon of fucking this main chick does in the last 85% of the book. Poorly written smut that just wasn't it. Like the author wanted to have all 4 guys in the room during it but she just couldn't figure out how to justify it so it was just sloppily written. Also HATED that the main chick would run away each time she had sex with one of the guys. Like she barely has sex with wolfboy then runs. Then Emrys finds her they fuck (I'll give points to this scene because she wrote this good but everything after it sucked especially Emrys attitude afterwards) runs off for Ash. Her and Ash fuck then she's about to run but then there's Sin and they fuck then she runs. It was exhausting and excruciating!!! HATED IT!!!! I'm just glad I didn't pay for this shit. And I will be reading the next one but tou bet your ass I won't be paying for it. Legit this is just a hate read now and my only reprieve is reading from the guys pov and they're banter....more

Liam showing up while she was being tortured and beat to stay with her during it all had me crying and super emotional! I'm still super pissed he died!!! I'm excited to see if we ever get anymore info about Xadins mom because I'm kinda thinking she'll end up being a super powerful venin or some shit! I also think that Kats rich af uncle arch duke or whatever his damn name is could be a huge power player in the venins movement idk how or why but it's just a feeling I have. I hate that Jack isn't dead. The whole mom dying scene was not compelling to me and the fact that she practically had to force Sloan to help with it just seemed wrong (as in characteristically Slaon seemed like she should be all in to kill her not have to be reminded why, etc.). Like I was so excited to pick this up but an hour into reading it I knew I wasn't going to like Stevie and if I can't relate to the main character I kind of just check out especially if none of the guys really hook me in and none of these ones did. The Webcam shit really took me out of it too and it's obviously going to be a plot point in the next book that Stevie and Vince fuck on camera for the money or whatever ...more

The almost but not really love triangle would have been more fun if the guys bickered more. The sprinkle of smut was excellent and written so damn well! There was a few plot holey things but they were so minor that I don't remember any of them and maybe with a reread I won't have that same opinion... I can't wait until the next book! It'll be awhile until it's out so I honestly will probably forget alot about this book but Future Haley you have to read the sequel when it comes out even if you don't remember much (or hell reread it if you're feeling up to it!). Things to remember,etc.: •Violent aka main chicks brother who she thought was dead is revealed to be alive on the very last page •How do they plan on going back to college? •Fuck Dain he has the ability to see your memories if he touches your face so watch out for that fucker •TF is up with Venin and why is the government keeping them a secret and why is all the knowledge on them just gone only that book of fables is around (that we know of) •RIP Liam he was badass and will be missed •LOVE Xaden btw...more
