I don’t think I ever expected a satisfying end for this series, and yet here we are, and I’m satisfied!
I think it’s truly the fact that Cavallaro took a departure from the more convoluted plots and let us see a softer, more vulnerable Holmes that really made this excellent. Plus, it was such Holmes x Watson fanservice that I could cry. I mean, okay, maybe I’m already crying. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better farewell....more

Incredible! I fell in love with the story, the characters, everything! When I first bought this book, I was in fifth grade. I gobbled it up. I was in love. And as soon as I was ready to buy the second book, they all disappeared. We couldn't find these books ANYWERE! Mind you, this is back when it was published under Jenny Caroll. They all just vanished. I seriously tried to buy some of them from Sweden. And when the sixth one came out and they were all republished my mom called me from the bookstore, ranting about it and my heart nearly stopped. She bought me all six and I read them within a couple days. I love this series and I love this book....more
The unicorns were the most believable part of the story because the characters were absurd. Not to mention they were so whiny!!This book was not good.
The unicorns were the most believable part of the story because the characters were absurd. Not to mention they were so whiny!! And I don’t think I have it in me right now to get even touch the gross virginity plot line, the even grosser rape plot line, the abhorrent parenting (and human-ing! What a bad human!), or the thin as fuck villainous plot line. Maybe I’ll have it in me later, but right after having spent nearly four hours binging the last half of this audiobook so I could rid myself of it, now I have nothing left.
There’s a book two and I’m sure as hell not reading it right now. There’s always the chance I’ll torture myself into completing book two eventually but that’ll be when, in the words of the great Taylor Swift “I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to....more
My initial reaction to finding out who this book is about: Knox and Felicity? WHO THE HELL ARE KNOX AND FELICITY AND WHY IS THERE A BOOK ABOUT THEM THMy initial reaction to finding out who this book is about: Knox and Felicity? WHO THE HELL ARE KNOX AND FELICITY AND WHY IS THERE A BOOK ABOUT THEM THAT'S KEEPING ME FROM MY PRECIOUS BABY ASHER?
My reaction as soon as I actually started the book: HEART EYES FUCKING EVERYWHERE.
Worth It, book 6 in the Forbidden Men series is not one that I wanted at all, and yet it may have ended up possibly being my favorite one of the whole bunch. Knox and Felicity's love story was so believable and getting to see how they fell for each other was swoonworthy and totally natural. I will forever cry tears in mourning of little baby 18 year old Knox and desperately hope he's able to find himself again....more
