I literally didn't think that this would turn out great I kept telling myself to have low expectations but the more I read the more my expectations grew and fortunately book didn't disappoint me at all..
I am FREAKING OBSESSED!!!!!!
It was fanfuckingtabulous.
The plotline, the characters, the concept chef's kisss
The book opens to Prithvi questioning Widow Mrs. Batra about an Aghori "Om Shastri".
But here's the catch Om Shastri isn't an everyday Aghori he claimed to have lived all Yugas.
But why is Prithvi looking for him? Is Om suffering from mental disorder or he actually is immortal and have lived all yugas?
Read to find out! FREAKING READDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
My only issue with the book is the writing style which imo kinda makes sense given the author previously has worked as a screenwriter and that can be noticed beyond doubt in his writing. Also the book imo needs more editing here and there
But hey do we perfect book? No
So what you waiting for? Gooooo readdddd
Also the book fullfilled my life long dream of reading a book which reveals a huge plot twist in the last line and ALSHAT GUPTA DID IT!!!...more
The fact that I have read books by Cynthia eden before, yet I never devoured all her books makes me really sad!
Because SHE'S AN AMAZING AUTHOR!!!
What The fact that I have read books by Cynthia eden before, yet I never devoured all her books makes me really sad!
Because SHE'S AN AMAZING AUTHOR!!!
What a book! Keeps you hooked. It's unputdownable. I really wanted to reach the end directly and see who was the killer yet I couldn't just skip pages!! It was so damn amazing!!
Cynthia knows how to write and what to write not something all authors have tbvvh.
The steam scenes......Top notch The suspense.....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G The story overall........ Chef's kiss
You know what's the best part? Ms. Eden doesn't make damsel in distress characters. They are lioness!! They know how to take a stand for themselves. They know they can do it and will go after what they want! Same with Delilah. She knows what she wants. How she wants and will get what she wants..
She isn't your damsel in distress heroine. She can fight!!!
I’m thinking the prince would have been a whole lot happier if he’d married the wicked stepsister.
But the written style had some issues imo. It wasn't really consistent. It was perfect paced at one point and then confus *Chef's kiss*
Bloody amazing!
But the written style had some issues imo. It wasn't really consistent. It was perfect paced at one point and then confusion filled at another. Nonetheless the book according to be was awesome!
3.5 stars. Blame the writing style for .5 less star
So the story is about US facing EMP attack (This causes all electronic equipments to go brrrrrrr)
So story opens to a woman who's, pregnant btw ,living in basement and dog barking in background. Eventually the narration tells you she's kidnapped and has been in basement since years.
EMP attack helps her to flee but what she doesn't know is technically there's nowhere to go since everything went brrrrrrr
Anyhow. Apocalypse meets American psycho!! Thrilling! Loved it!!

TBH i read it because it was free :P It was a good read and engaging if not jaw gripping but still engaging. There were a few typos here and there but oTBH i read it because it was free :P It was a good read and engaging if not jaw gripping but still engaging. There were a few typos here and there but overall a good read. It was good for a debut author. The only thing that I didnt like was the climax. Sorry but no I did not like it that much or maybe I was overexpecting....more
Grace Brookstein, a former gymnast, is the wife of billionaire and philanthropist, Lenny Brookstein, who rose from poverty and made a name for himselfGrace Brookstein, a former gymnast, is the wife of billionaire and philanthropist, Lenny Brookstein, who rose from poverty and made a name for himself “The King of Wall Street. They both live a life of fantasy. Their fairy-tale story comes to an end when stock market crashes and Lenny Brookstein is murdered suspiciously on his yacht. Grace is arrested for money laundering and everyone she knew turns their back against her. Deciding on to prove her innocence grace puts herself in danger and goes against all odds to find the real culprit and avenge her husband’s death. On her mission to truth she unveils many secrets and finds that all this time she really was living in a fantasy, and she had no idea about the reality.
A good read , though it felt similar to Sheldon’s “If Tomorrow Comes, nevertheless a good read if not a great read. Not the ideal Sheldon work but still worth reading. Tilly has done her best to write like THE SIDNEY SHELDON, though that did not happen,by the time you are in the middle, story becomes quite predictable. Though I felt that whatever bit of romance was there between the lead protagonists(Mitch and Grace) was not required and neither few more mishaps and affairs mentioned. Sheldon’s books are known for their suspense and then everything getting revealed eventually in a dramatic way.Well that did not happen here. You read about an incident and think why his might have had happened, before you even come up with a theory Tilly herself lays everything on plate with detailed explanation .It could have been better had Tilly been bit patient and delayed in revealing things and kinda give us more to read as to who why where and killed Lenny till the end instead of revealing everything side by side.
But then why 3 stars?????? Well a good question indeed. Well even though it certainly did not have The Sheldon factor but still I sat with the book for the entire day&night because I just could not come to part with the book. There were times when i felt,“oh! damn here you go.why ??? but then i would be like,“oh ! ha thank god and,“no don’t tell me no.. What I mean to say is this that at places it does kinda hangs you and you wanna know what happened next. sign of good book. ...more

George comes to know that The story starts with a person dying with hypoglycemia, and how her fiancé, George Wilson, finds the truth about her death. George comes to know that her fiancé had died because of some experiment she was a part of and later more patients who died and were part of the same beta test. Planning to reveal the truth behind the iDoc, an app that takes over primary care developed by an insurance company and bought by Obamacare administration for Medicaid and Medicare, George puts his freedom, career and life in danger.
Right. The genre of the book is different- Medical thriller, one of the reasons why I read this book. Also, I read this book because I was over obsessed with Grey’s anatomy. I was recommended this author by one of my friends, as he writes about people in medical profession. To be honest I had great expectations from the author but………..well I’m really disappointed (surprise surprise). Well the idea of iDoc was really good, interesting, innovative, new and I’m pretty sure it might even be used in the future and Robin Cook’s name might go down in history for it, but certainly not for the book Cell. But talking about the protagonists, First up we have George Wilson and he was…………. stupid. In the entire novel George Wilson, M.D., apart from falling into the trap did nothing else and maybe telling why he and Paula did not get along. Paula on the other was a character who did a pretty bad job of not being able to hide that she was against George and only George seemed oblivious to it. But then George was a character who was oblivious to everything. Not only was George Wilson naïve but was the entire book. Well even though it belonged to the genre medical thriller, I was not at all thrilled by reading it. Not that it was a waste of time but not an excellent or a very good read. Worth reading maybe yes, but only once. ...more
