I’m not as inclined to read a biography as I am a memoir, but I am a big Fleetwood Mac fan and was interested to learn more about one of the more private members, Christine McVie. This is well researched and the author was also a part of the music scene which lends credibility, but it felt like there was still a lot of speculation. The style was a bit too meandering for me with side tangents, focus on other people in McVie’s life and the author’s personal analysis that I could have done without. There were some interesting parts and I’m glad I read it, but I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute must read book.
