and referring to her fuck hole as “my precious because she writes LOTR poly smut? what a way to start my reading off this year. with the need for immediate eye bleach.
that being said. i think this might appeal to college freshman. i can admit there is some semblance of realism when it comes to the characters thoughts and actions.
this wasn’t awful, it was just truly so so weird....more

it wasn't void of depth or emotion. but it didn't go to places i thought were special. it wasn't super serious but it also wasn't light hearted and fun.
and i think therein lies the problem for me as a reader. i want something easy breezy or i want the melodrama, the hand flexing angst. and i didn't get either here. which does not make a book BAD. there weren't any glaring writing or plot or character issues. i just wasn't obsessed like i wanted to be....more
i pretty actively disliked the first book in this series, but have been VERY pleasantly surprised with books 2 and 3.

this one is a wingman-style romance where our heroine is recently out of a long term (quite shitty) relationship and is looking for some no strings attached fun. hero is one of her best friends who she's crashing with after her breakup. has he had a thing for her forever? YEP. but he agrees to help her out anyway.
it's adorable. if you're looking for something easy to breeze through that will have you swooning this is a safe bet. the hero and heroine both have their own shit to work thru in their lives, namely insecurities, which i also appreciated. i recently read another sports romance and was wondering what was missing and i realized it was the hint of depth. i'm not asking for every romance to be DEEPLY emotional but i want the characters to at least feel a little different/real. these ones did.
plus i got a couple of good laughs in too. loved this....more

the romance was fine. the chemistry & sex scenes were hot. but the actual plot line execution was a little bland and the amount of extra shit in the book was just too much. so many side characters i felt like i was reading icebreaker.
part of what made the original off campus series so good was how each book felt perfectly executed. plots were tight, romances hot, and page length reasonable. i'd like to say i'm hopeful for future books in the series but i own The Dixon Rule and that hoe is thick too. so idk. eh....more

i haven't done a reread of the all for the game series in... at least 3 or 4 years. so i didn't know if i'd be able to pick up where i left off in terms of understanding content or caring about characters. but i was sucked ALL the way back in. need a reread like i need my next breath.
i was scratching my head on how to rate this one because it wasn’t incredibly unique or the MOST deeply emotional
but there isn’t a single thing i’d chi was scratching my head on how to rate this one because it wasn’t incredibly unique or the MOST deeply emotional
but there isn’t a single thing i’d change about this book. it was sexy, fun, romantic, and the characters were really likable. i’ve struck out with soooo many sports romance from my favorite authors lately. so it’s refreshing to read something so great by an author i haven’t previously had any luck with.
definitely check this out if you’re looking for a slump buster ...more

what i hate is when authors promise a romance and you get some half baked relationship that they didn't care to actually develop and instead give u what they consider to be raunchy sex scenes. cause i guess that's what sells.
THIS on the other hand? promises smut. it promises a corn shuckin good time. and tril delivered that. thank you queen.
like always, i really appreciated the writing of this book. i can get bored with repetitive sex scenes but these felt unique and the character dialogue had me giggling. plus the ending is something i really could get on board with. and like... i'm a football loving hoe. winding up married to a pro quarterback in vegas? a fantasy i was all too happy to indulge in....more
