This probably has a better history of Twitter than the books more focused on Musk, and seems to skip Musk's made up biography, thankfully. Jack, Musk, Yacc, the woman who interviewed Yacc, terrible people all the way down.

In so many places in this book I kept thinking, these people escaped death because they weren't exposed to the virus. How did it totally disappear? There were bodies everywhere, no insects were vectors? no one got sick after going into houses with dead bodies in them?
I know Toronto isn't far from Michigan, but it just doesn't make sense they'd cross paths in Michigan, why not set it in Ontario? Nitpicky yes, but I'm not a fan of the giant coincidence....more
Young adult philosophy. Nice enough, but no real story. We even have a little section where they explain how their money system isn't a money system. Young adult philosophy. Nice enough, but no real story. We even have a little section where they explain how their money system isn't a money system.
I enjoy the characters, so I would probably read another installment....more

They drive you crazy, then you get punished for being crazy. A lot of the negative reviews are people a little bit in denial (can being unable to load a dishwasher correctly really be attributed to bumbling? It only has 2 real rules, what has to go on the top shelf and make sure water hits stuff, most tweens are more than capable.) or a bit sanctimonious - I'd never choose a guy like that (we ALL think that.)
There are plenty of valid criticisms, it gets to be a bit much. It also gets crude about sex in a way that doesn't add to the story.
Highly recommended. And if you make it to old age with a man who doesn't do this to you - maybe try "there but the grace of the universe go I" instead of pointing out how you are better. You're luckier....more

It was interesting, trippy. There really isn't much of a coherent story, but I'm fascinated by different cultures before we became homogenized by the internet.
I kept thinking... I can't believe she's running around out there and only running into good men.
Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler
Then we get to part 3, where she learns to love to be raped by the horrible men who happen upon her. I'm sure a psychoanalyst would have a field day....more
