There are moments in this book that I cherish & adore given the friction, requited love & the inevitable lose "....get the breaking done all at once!" The threat to the Cullen Clan & the ingenious way they end up handling those (view spoiler)[ Voltaire, V's revenge for James & Newborn Army (view spoiler)[ not dimension the extra story of Bree we get out the deal & from Stephanie!
The levity in the end & the brazen - ness of Bella feeling she has nothing else to lose only to find it the opposite, yet she fights for it all - in ways she didn't think herself capable of - all's fair.
I read it 20 times! (Yet, I read all of them 20 times with the exception of 'Midnight Sun' that excerpt & updated excerpt, I've read four or maybe fivI read it 20 times! New Moon was not my favorite of the Twilight Saga/Series, yet it still gets full five stars, the author captures teenage angst, first loves bitter sting & being dumped too well!
The ramifications of 'secrets' & someone else making decisions for you (whatever the secret or the reason for the decision), I must admit the reemergence of my favorite character & (blood) vegan (of sorts) returns so suffering through the puppy love made 'Bella' a little more interesting.
New Moon set the tone for growing up & leaving childhood things behind....more
