Honestly, it should have just focused on the life of Nathan Garlan as he avoided his mother's attempts to kill him. Maybe beef up his father's journey to find him. The haunting of Sarah Winchester maybe what ties the book to reality... but this is a story about people who can see the dead. I don't think reality was necessary....more
