I read this using the Kindle app on my iPad. Sometimes entire paragraphs were squished into one word, which made it really difficult. Each Kindle page was made up of two of the print pages, meaning the only way I could read text was to use the zoom feature and wear my glasses. I couldn’t experience a lot of the artwork due to this.
The text itself is pretty good. It is an accurate portrayal of Zitkala-Ša’s life (as far as I am aware), and well researched.
I’m not sure of the age group. There are several paragraphs on every two pages, which makes me think this isn’t for the very young. But the illustrations implies that it is....more
