Lachlan stood up for himself, but it cost him all of his creature comforts and former life stability. Now he is a survivor, but he’s living on the streets due to circumstances. Foster is a librarian and a dog dad who is struggling with his own mental health which makes it difficult for him to face the world some days.
A chance meeting with Foster and his dog sort of sets up a routine where they cross paths more often. During some stressful situations, Foster finds himself wanting to help Lachlan. But Lachlan n is independent-minded and prideful and doesn’t want to rely on other people anymore. So Foster has to kind of dance around and be creative in ways to help him. But the more time they spend with each other, the more the chemistry builds between them. And the fact that neither of their worlds is so gray anymore when they spend time together is a whole other positive aspect. But it is also a tense and scary one because the potential to get hurt is high.
I loved that Foster was kind, willing to help, to learn, and to be an ally. He treated Lachlan with respect and care and tried to work with his boundaries. My heart broke for Lachlan and what he had been through and how he was just kind of stuck due to no fault of his own. But it did a real number on his self-worth and hope for the future. But Lachlan also provided Foster with a much needed jumpstart to want to be active in his own life and live it more fully despite his issues. The author tackled tough situations honestly and realistically with no quick fixes
This is a story about trust, vulnerability, passion, and finding a true partner in the good and bad times. But individually it is about self-worth,, empowerment, taking charge of their own lives, finding purpose, and paying it forward. It is hopeful, inspiring, heartwarming, and unforgettable.
We had connected in the gray, and that bond created a spark that made everything around us brighter.

He is an agent of the Dragon Council but also helping "Raven"(Sorin) with his mission of saving omegas. He is a secret mate, father, and brother, but would be seen as a traitor if discovered. Sorin is at times weak due to mental struggles and some uncontrollable magic issues, but he is also brave and determined to make a difference and prevent suffering like he went through. Their story spans over five hundred years of some good things, but also a lot of despair, separations, and challenges.
It was brilliant how this book was layered on top of the entire other series. But now you see it from completely different points of view and get a real understanding what was happening with Bertram and Sorin. Before we didn’t understand what was going on, and we certainly didn’t understand the deep bond that these two had for each other or what their mission was. Sure there were complications and mistakes struggles, and challenges along the way. They seem to be always fighting: while at first they were fighting with each other, now they fight their own intrusive thoughts, society, injustice, foes, and threats. But they are also fighting for each other and a better possible future for themselves and others.
There were parts where it was full of sadness and hopelessness, but there were also parts that were passionate, funny, sweet, and just pure joy. Part of what I find interesting within the whole series is the way that they were all catalysts for change. In each story, they knocked down a wall or moved their cultures into the future Bertram, and Sorin were a big part of that as well.
Their love story is epic and captivating. They are such an intense and devoted couple who were in a situation that would’ve been impossible for anyone who was not as strong, stubborn, determined, or protective as they were of each other. My heart broke for them both. At the heart of it is the idea of mates, family, home, and fighting to protect them, no matter how much sacrifice. And also about equality in society, and protecting those that might be weaker or are being held down.
Every time I open one of these books I am completely transported back into this world and I don't want to leave. This two-part finale did the series proud. It makes me want to go back and reread the series again.

I loved these characters so it was so fun to see them with their offspring.
Noah Fitzgerald is a flirty, sarcastic, confident, spontaneous, USA Team swimmer. He likes getting attention and finds it easy to pick up groupies wherever he goes. He is known as a manwhore and has no plans to change his status.
Gaby Resendiz is an anxious, introverted, quiet, shy, curvy girl who prefers to avoid the limelight. She is getting over a broken heart and has a lot of insecurities. She has a giving heart and has plans to do good in the world.
They share various friends that they have known through their parents or met in college so there is a mixing of all of the generations at a wedding for Mason and Laurel. And Noah was one person she had no interest in seeing after a bit of bad history. But he is just as determined to rile her up and reel her in for some extra-curricular wedding fun.
This is a witty, snarky, sexy, enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, player and good girl romance. Noah never expected to be so affected by Gaby and is used to getting what he wants. And Gaby would never have expected Noah to even notice her much less have any interest in her.
A hot wedding fling sends Noah in pursuit of something more with a girl for the first time. But Gaby is stubborn and scared to risk her heart. He will have his work cut out for him to convince Gaby that he is serious and convince her to take a chance on him. These two are so compassionate and so competitive. They have fun witty, flirty, verbal sparring and rapport. But even if he catches her in the short term, there are still long-term issues not easily figured out. Swimming has always been his number one priority, but Gaby is not the kind of girl who likes second place.
It brings back their parents whose personalities and dynamics are much the same even though they are older. It is fun to see them as parents though. And there are a lot of connections between all of the kids. This brings all the fun and the feels. I totally enjoyed their story and am looking forward to more of the legacy stories.

He’s grumpy, snarky, moody, confident, and a loner who likes to keep people at arm's length. He has never done love and doesn’t plan on trying it anytime soon.
And Shep is a one-and-done kind of playboy, and it seems to cause him some issues when he doesn’t want to repeat and his conquests get trippy. He is outgoing, sarcastic, funny, nosy, friendly, and loves to rile Riggs up.
When Riggs needs a place to stay, they become unlikely roommates. Too horny commitment-phobes living in one space. It seems like the answer to their problems. Or is it? Neither of them is looking for love, but what happens if someone catches feels?
This is an antagonistic, steamy, snarky, coworkers and new roommates, supposed to be a just-getting-off-and-not-catching-feels story. But the progression of their friendship and relationship is so organic and natural from just hanging out, to drunk cuddles, sharing O's, little touches, out-of-control thoughts, to feelings that are hard for them to even understand at times. It becomes so much more of an unexpected and strong connection, but with all kinds of confusing thoughts and messy feelings.
It is even more of a journey for Riggs to learn about why he has always felt different and incapable of love. But Shep has never wanted more with anyone either and does not understand his new obsession with his prickly roommate either. But these two spark and catch fire together. And along the way Shep just lets Riggs be Riggs. He encourages him, accepts him, and tries to not pressure him. And they stumble their way together into a relationship that makes them both happier than they ever thought they could be. The aromantic representation is done in a way that made it easy to understand. I really felt for these characters as they slowly figured out things about themselves and each other. There are serious unfamiliar emotions mixed in with crazy humor, jealousy, and intense passion.
This is my favorite of the series. It brings back all the Big Bull and Four Bears couples. I love all of their witty banter and how the couples are all so besotted with each other. These big burly guys are just big teddy bears in love, but they also share amazing friendships. And there is more with the bikers and tattoo studio guys and Shep has a twin brother, Axel too. So I am excited for more spin-off potentials.
Oh, these two. They have loved big and lost. And are raising their children alone with the help of friends and family.
Addison Davis moved from Rose COh, these two. They have loved big and lost. And are raising their children alone with the help of friends and family.
Addison Davis moved from Rose Canyon to Sugarloaf to start over after her husband was murdered. She is smart, funny, caring, but has been lonely and wants to settle down again.
Grady Whitlock has moved to Sugarloaf to be near his family and start a new stable life for him and his son after losing his wife years ago. Grady is passionate and thoughtful, but confused and not looking for love.
Grady is focused on building his business, a home, and focusing on being a full-time parent. He has no plans on starting a relationship or risking himself or his son losing again. Addison has already found her place in town and is ready to start dating again and open her heart,
They form an unexpected friendship and their kids love each other. And they figure out they can help each other with something. He needs dates to some events to look like a settled man to potential investors and she needs a date to her friend's wedding back in Rose Canyon. It seems like a win-win. They set their boundaries and expectations. It is all supposed to be fake. Even falling into the physical passion is supposed to not make things complicated. But eventually, it will be time for it to end, but it might not be as easy to let it go. And they both have businesses to manage and have to prioritize their children.
This is a small town, fake relationship, second chance at love, single parents romance with heat and heart. I loved these two together despite the fact that they were often lying to themselves and I wanted to smack Grady multiple times. I loved their relationships with their kids and also their families and friends. It is a fun mash-up of these two series and friend groups. There are plenty of people watching them and talking about them, but ultimately hoping that these two would find happiness again.

But it’s also got antagonism, sexual tension, and an underlying emotional component due to the shared trauma and misconceptions. These two thought they hated each other but when they’re in a new situation in forced proximity and having to work as a team, the dynamics start to change.
Scottie is a young adult autistic man who has recently lost his father and previously lost his brother. He needs someone to care for him and find him a permanent living situation. And the two people who show up to help are not happy to see each other. Carly was Scottie's late brother's fiancee' and Josh is his late brother's long-time best friend. And they did not get along in the past. And they both think they can handle it alone, until they realize how challenging the situation is.
Carly is sassy, kind, and has spent two years grieving. She has always seen Josh as the wild one and a bad influence. But they did not really know each other and were colored by misperceptions.
They are dealing with shared loss, guilt, loneliness, and grief. But as they work together to help this young man, the forced proximity, new understanding, communication, and teamwork begin to build a connection and unwanted attraction.
Carly is just starting to think she can begin to move on and is willing to try putting herself out there but is also afraid of her burgeoning feelings for him and fear of rejection. It's a slow burn with some jealousy issues and fear of admitting what is really going on. Josh is struggling with issues from his past and feelings of unworthiness and guilt. He tends to run hot and cold, avoids, resists, and is afraid of what he wants. And the want is the problem for both of them.
This is a story of unexpected life changes, found family, and home. It's complicated, messy, sometimes funny and sometimes emotional. I honestly loved them together. From their initial antagonism to friends to lovers. They challenge, support, and surprise each other. I loved seeing them with Scottie. This book touched my heart and I really enjoyed it.
This is the final installment of the Safe Harbor trilogy and really brought it all home. It literally brought the prodigal son home. Worth Stapleton eThis is the final installment of the Safe Harbor trilogy and really brought it all home. It literally brought the prodigal son home. Worth Stapleton escaped the small town and all of his past family trauma from there and made a life for himself in the financial world in the city until it all came tumbling down just as secrets from the past were already messing with his head.
Sam Bookman is a hometown boy, preacher's son, and all-around good guy. He owns a non-profit coffee shop to help at-risk youth and dreams of opening his home up to kids. He had a crush on Worth when younger and was one of the people in Safe Harbor who never forgot about Worth and kept trying to reach out to him.
So when Worth is lost, alone, and has nowhere to go, he finds himself in Safe Harbor and on Sam's doorstep...the place he used to call home before it all went terribly wrong. Worth is a broken man, but Sam is determined to do whatever is needed to make him feel better make him want to stay.
Sam is just the sweetest cinnamon roll and caretaker and he just won my heart. The way he takes charge and takes care of Worth. The way he cares for his community. He is caring, optimistic, supportive, thoughtful, and is determined to help Worth see his true worth.
Worth has so many struggles. But Sam gives him the safe space and inspiration to fight...for a new life, his mental health, his self-worth, forgiveness, and to want a real home again. But he is also scared and is not sure he is enough.
This is a heartfelt, emotional, steamy, crush-to-friends-to-lovers, hurt-comfort, roommates, small-town love story focusing on found family and home. It's about trust, vulnerability, safety, acceptance, self-forgiveness, and finding purpose. There are hot first times and a connection that grows into something that both grounds them and makes them truly want to live full lives. They balance each other in unexpected ways. But there are personal demons and professional challenges and layers of pain, hurt, and guilt that need to be navigated.
It brings back the other couples from the series and some fun cameos. This one literally touched my heart so deeply and at one point I actually burst into tears. And I do not usually cry in books. This series has been amazing with the threads of mystery, emotional baggage, mental health and physical challenges rep, and a strong sense of found family and home.

So his boss, Jonas, sends him off to his villa in France to recuperate effectively. As he is enjoying rest and relaxation, Jonas’s brother Olivier arrives. He’s wild, sweet, charming, and is seen as a player and adrenaline junkie Olivier runs the family's perfume business in Paris while Jonas runs the model agency in London.
Pip's getting his spunk and sass back and Olivier soaks up his energy and finds himself fascinated by the mouthy twink They are both very sexually charged men, but also use it as a barrier to protect their hearts. But Pip is still a man looking for his Prince Charming and real love, while Olivier believes he is anti-relationship and is afraid of love.
As these two become friends and enjoy adventures, an unexpected bond forms and attraction grows. Both have family dynamics that have strongly affected their views on relationships. Both have abandonment issues and fear of loss and rejection and use casual flings as protection to avoid from getting too close or hurt. But they seem to be able to see the real person under their public facade to the man that is hurt, vulnerable, and in need of a connection. But they have to deal with their own fears, the skittishness of the other, and logistics of their lives. And there is a bit of external drama as well.
This is a heartfelt, banterrific, funny, sexy, age-gap, boss's brother, new-friends-to-lovers romance with two wild and sexy guys with big, sensitive hearts. I just adored these two guys together. They made me smile, laugh, and swoon, They are fun-loving, passionate, witty, and adventurous, but also have these soft, vulnerable cores that they hide from many people. And they care so deeply and just want the best for the people they care about. There is such a warm feeling of found family, safety, and home. It was fun to see all the cameos and I am hoping to see books for Ezra and Bowie, Reuben and Xavier, and Armand.

These two did not have a meet cute, but they forged a bond during a difficult time in their young lives and then did not see each other again for years. But now they’re in college and they’re back in the same environment and surprised to see each other.
They’re opposites in just about every way. Henry is from a wealthy and affluent family. He’s the star football quarterback, an intelligent engineering student, popular, outgoing, and deeply closeted and inexperienced. But despite living a charmed life now, he still has a lot of pressure and expectations put upon him.
Lark is a scholarship student and ballet dancer from a trailer park. He is anxious, introverted, self-conscious, and a bit awkward. He struggles a bit in school, does not like attention, and he’s used to being picked on. He has accepted and owned the fact he is gay for a long time.
But despite the years, and their social standings, these two still share a connection and it makes it easier to trust the other one at this point in their life. And there is this attraction that keeps building as well. They both have secrets and fears and need support. And there are also social expectations and this secret they’re supposed to be keeping, so it also makes it hard for them to spend time together out in the open.
This is a heartfelt, inspiring, hurt/comfort, opposites-attract, childhood friends-to-lovers, college romance. I loved Henners and Lark togehter. Their connection, their first times, their friendship, and their understanding of each other. They survived similar trauma but come from families and circumstances that could not be more different. I really felt for Henners because he might be the rich boy but he struggled to be able to be his authentic self and live his own life. He lived under such stress and anxiety. And Lark's life was not really his own either due to his own obligations. I think the author did a good job regarding mental health and anxiety issues and the lasting repercussions of chronic illness on the survivor as well as their families.

It Ivy Samuels' life has just gone through some major changes but not in a good way. She is now single, jobless, and swearing off men...or maybe not. It is hard to resist the gift of a hot body with a great sense of humor and a flirty, dirty talker. Or his teammate who is paying attention to her and distracting her with his hockey bod too.
Hayes Armstrong always seems to be the new guy on the team. And now he is joining the Avengers. He is a bit introspective and laser-focused, but he can also be charming, flirty, dirty, and commanding. He has a great sense of humor and is willing to help a girl out. When she needs a date for a wedding, he volunteers. But then they find out that there are some complications with the idea of them becoming more. But it is also kind of fun to ride the line and live in a bit of denial and flirt anyway.
Stefan is the team Captain and an old friend of Hayes. He is playful, outgoing, sexy, and a lot of fun. But he is also a bit broken and lonely under his happy-go-lucky persona. And he has had a thing for Ivy for a while but there were barriers at the time.
One woman. Two Men that want her. One night in Vegas. Flirting, a bit of alcohol, a dare, a double dare, and some truly honest communication. Things kind of escalate quickly and they surprise even themselves. Viva Las Vegas and that jazz. But sometimes choices lead you down unexpected paths.
A public husband. A secret boyfriend. Two attentive, sexy, and swoony heroes. Double the pleasure and double the complications.
This is a spicy, engaging, witty, bantery, Vegas-wedding-plus-one, co-workers, MFM hockey romance. I loved Ivy. She is sassy, motivated, and just trying to make a new life for herself. She has insecurities, but the guys start to try to build up her confidence and show her what she is worth. And Hayes is a caring, swoony, good-guy hero with an intense, bossy bedside manner. But he also has many layers to him with some fear, insecurities, and coping mechanisms. And Stefan is so easygoing, seductive, and thoughtful, but has his own vulnerability and sometimes feels left out. And they all have some trust issues from their pasts causing insecurities in addition to the other extenuating circumstances and ticking clock on their arrangement. It's a hot mess of emotions and the outcome is not clear. But I just adored how they balanced each other and came together.
The side characters bring more humor and drama and I am excited to see more with some of them. And there is the cutest pupper too. But there are a couple of antagonists that made me cringe and I will be happy never to hear from them again. But I am also intrigued by some of their friends and am looking forward to more.

Wyatt is a ranch and vineyard/winery owner from Texas who is on his way to Cancun for his brother's destination wedding. Along the way, he finds a drunk and desolate jilted groom in the airport bar. Being the nice guy he is, he helps Noel get to their destination in Cancun safely despite the excessive alcohol he consumed.
It was just supposed to be a vacation fling, but they can't seem to forget. And Noel gets a brilliant idea that puts him back in Wyatt's proximity. Will these guys be able to work through all of their challenges, issues, and fears in order to explore the deep connection that they developed?
Wyatt has always been a responsible, dependable, helpful, patient, good guy that always puts family and his family business ahead of his own wants. He is small town through and through but he does have big dreams.
Noel is a classy, complex, impulsive, frenzied New Yorker who hobnobs with the rich and famous and lives a more superficial and high-profile life. He tries to create an illusion of perfection around him while internally thinking he is a hot mess that ruins everything.
Deep down, they are both lonely and crave acceptance, true love, and someone to really see them and want to be there with them, but they also are self-deprecating and don’t always know their own worth and what they have to offer. So there is a lot of potential for miscommunication, misinterpretation, and hurt feelings. Not to mention the fact they live completely different lifestyles across the country from each other.
This is a sexy, sweet, swoony, heartfelt, and emotional opposites-attract, jilted groom, first times, vacation, second chance romance with a country boy and a city boy. It sucked me right in and I was feeling so much for these guys. I just adored both of them and I loved them together and I was just waiting for the time that they could find a way to make things work. There is plenty of self-discovery and personal growth. And they spent so much time actually talking and getting to know each other on a deeper level that even though they bonded rather quickly, it felt like a real and true connection that carried on through their journey. Overall it's about figuring out what really matters in life and then figuring out what is necessary in order to keep it.
I was completely invested in their story, and I hated to have to put it down to have to do real-life things. And now I am sad it is over. These guys and their beautiful love story and romantic gestures will stick with me.

But he forged a new life and continued working as a veterinarian. But now the community of Plum Valley needs vets to help with a serious animal neglect situation so he is going back temporarily to help his old mentor. He is very busy with the weight of the world on his shoulders and guilt for having to be away from his daughter at home.
Sammy is an animal control officer also helping in Plum Valley. He is flirty, cocky, confident, energetic, and determined to spend some time with Harrison. He is used to going after what he wants but his love life has not been good to him either.
They find a way to fit in some sexy shenanigans during their visit. And they actually live not that far from each other normally. But Harrison has baggage and is tired, overwhelmed, and not sure he has the time or energy for something just for himself. So it will be up to Sammy to convince him that he can deal with his messy life and that he is all in.
Sammy is such a sweet, determined, flirty, impulsive, sunshiny, cinnamon roll, golden retriever type that I could not help but love. He just wants a loving man and family of his own and a real home. And I felt for Harrison both from what happened in the past in Fool Hearts and the other things he went through. He has been focusing on his obligations for so long that he kind of lost himself, got stuck, and is lonely, cautious, and guarded. I felt he deserved his happy ending too. And precocious Winnie is like a little force of nature, but she also has her own vulnerabilities and factors in.
I love that Sammy just kind of wriggles himself into their lives and just becomes another functioning piece of it naturally. He gives Harrison that partnership that he has never had. And Harrison and Winnie give him the family experiences that he craves. It was just so adorable that my heart was bursting.
This is low angst and just a total fluffy marshmallow love story with two vulnerable men who needed it so badly due to them never having it in the past. It’s like they waited this long to find the perfect counterbalance, and they are both scared of getting it and then losing it. But they are also willing to be patient and make sure that it is right for all of them. And all along they are all hoping and wishing for what they really want and need, and that they will be able to keep it.

Lennox York has known tragedy, loss, and has abandonment issues. He was a foster kid left by his parents and then again by his biological brother. He was doing well in his college life but then his life unexpectedly changed again. Not only by the precipitating event, but also by his brother's return to the family, dealing with the repercussions in his life, but also by seeing who stays by his side.
Samuel Hart is Lennox's best friend. He is an All-American boy and fellow college football player. But he also knows how tragedy can affect all aspects of someone's life. He has been in love with Lennox but was too afraid to tell him. But the thought of losing Lennox spurs him into action.
Rhys Denser is a recovering addict struggling to find his way in life, get over the hard times in his own past, and prove to himself he can beat his struggles. When his sponsor introduces him to Arlo and his gym, he has no idea what that would lead to and how it would change his life.
Lennox, Samuel, and Rhys are like three souls that just seem to connect on a deeper level. They are bonded by past pain, self-worth and abandonment issues, need, want, and comfort. But they also have emotional triggers and fear of loss. It adds this intensity to their connection.
Although it is initially Lennox who needs to hold their hands to get through his struggles, throughout the course of their story they all find themselves needing support at times. It is not only the three of them bonding together, but also the addition of their families. It brings back Lennox's foster siblings Arlo, Clem, Remy, and his brother, Frankie. But Samuel and Rhys also have complex family relationships as well.
This book pulled me right in and I did not want to put it down. I loved all three of these guys and how they worked hard to understand, care for, and be there for each other. Their relationships were all equally important to each other, and they were truly a loving throuple. And the whole aspect of found family is really beautiful. I am looking forward to more in this series. ...more
What’s better than one hot hockey player? Two hot hockey players! A hockey player sandwich. For Trina, the answer is yes, please!
A tale of one woman iniWhat’s better than one hot hockey player? Two hot hockey players! A hockey player sandwich. For Trina, the answer is yes, please!
A tale of one woman initially set on revenge to finds herself in the company of not one, but two hockey players. It’s unexpected, hot, fun, and something none of them saw coming.
Trina is a bit of a hot mess and her life just imploded. She just wants to get back at her ex, so enjoying his VIP hockey experience tickets seems like a good enough way.
Enter the hockey guys. Chase is charming, smiley, handsome, and has a good boy image and is laser-focused on hockey. But he’s always a man with a plan and likes to take care of people. Ryker is broody, stoic, grumpy, bearded, tatted, and appears to have a bad attitude but he is protective and always gets the job done. They’ve been best friends since childhood, but they play on rival city hockey teams.
Let’s just say the night that they enjoyed was not exactly supposed to be part of the VIP experience. They may be hot on the ice separately, but they are fire in the bedroom focused on one goal…her pleasure. And they are both highly skilled and fiercely determined to give it their all. They will score as many O’s as possible.
And that one night leads to more and they find themselves in a devil's threesome situation with a set timeline. They are determined to help a girl in need and the girl was definitely in need...and she met their needs as well. But the more time they spend together, the more time they realize that they may just all need a little bit more, and trying to figure out how to maneuver that will be a challenge.
This is a spicy, witty, best friends, hockey rivals, MFM romance. The guys are all about her pleasure. I really like the grumpy sunshine aspect of the guys and the fact that there was so much more to them than their public images. They have such a strong connection and understanding of each other, and that really translates into their relationship with Trina.
This is a sports romance about understanding, trust, acceptance, vulnerability, and embracing happiness even if it is in an unconventional way.
I’m always a sucker for hockey romance and I really enjoyed this one even though I don’t read that much MFM. If I had to choose one of the guys for her, I couldn’t do it. Because I loved Chase and Ryker so much and their dynamic is such that they really do bring so much to the relationship and also care about each other’s happiness and it’s obvious she could handle them both. They really are a wonderful triad. I hope the author makes it into a series and we see some other developments. there are definitely some contenders for more stories with side characters.

Hunter is an outgoing, British, streaming network executive who has just recently figured out some things about himself and is eager to explore.
A meet-cute and a hot interlude leave them thinking about the other, but realizing it is just supposed to be one night...until the opportunity arises for another night that might just be in Vegas. That leads to some unexpected shenanigans and complications. What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay there but that is not always the case.
Now they are in an unexpected situation and just trying to get through it with the least amount of damage possible to their reputations and their hearts. They enjoy each other's company in and out of the bedroom. Nate is a gentle giant that has been burned and is still feeling negative repercussions from his ex. But he is loyal, loving, family-oriented, and can be both bossy and vulnerable. Hunter is a bit younger, fun, adventurous, and irresistible. But he also is a bit insecure about some things and can fall into negative self-talk as well. Even though the relationship is supposed to be for show, their connection, chemistry, and trust are very real.
They are learning to live in the moment and explore new things together during their fabulous fake honeymoon, but they both know there is an expiration date and not much time to be husbands.
This is a fun, witty, sexy, swoony, oops-we-got-married, M/M romance where the characters actually surprise themselves. Nate and Hunter are just such good guys, and so cute and hot together. They have witty, flirty, dirty rapport. They both have trust issues, but just really deep down want respect, care, and passion. They make each other excited about life and intimacy. They totally deserve to find something good but are scared of being hurt or not being enough, so they will have to make themselves believe the risk is actually worth it. And there is the little challenge that they live and work in different countries too.
I just loved these two together and their story. There are some fun cameos from the LB Universe and I am totally interested in more with their friends. And a progression from previous side characters made me smile.
It seems I have been waiting forever for Jack and Grady' story and it exceeded my expectations. It is more than a simple love story. And just sinking It seems I have been waiting forever for Jack and Grady' story and it exceeded my expectations. It is more than a simple love story. And just sinking back into this author's world feels like visiting old friends.
Grady and Jack have been friends for four years. Grady is a lonely cop and Jack has a checkered past. And even though Grady made a move early on, Jack shot it down and they just remained friends while they expanded their friend group as well. Along the way, Jack has found a career and passion in his work. Jack may be easy to look at but he is also guarded and a stoic man that keeps some things to himself and is happy fixing things for his friends. Grady is a dependable guy always ready to rescue anyone in need, but has his own issues from his past.
Their friends have watched them circle around each other for years and live in denial. But when they come into times where they both find themselves needing someone to lean on, they make themselves more vulnerable, share more of their pasts, and begin providing more comforting touches. As they become more touchy-feely, the lines begin to blur. But they both also have fears and insecurities.
But when they need to work together, they make a great team. Their worlds are changing in unexpected ways and their hearts are filling up more than they thought possible. Their love story is one built on years of respect, care, understanding, attraction, and pining. But they both never believed that they were worthy and that the other wanted to be in a real relationship with them. I just fell hopelessly in love with these two as they started to realize their own self-worth and became more willing to be brave enough to start pushing boundaries and admitting their feelings.
But at the heart of this story is the idea of found family and building a home with people you love and developing strong friendships with people that will always have your back.
This brings back most of the characters I have come to love in other stories in this world, and also brings in new ones. This author creates these lovable characters that just feel real and their relationships have such depth to them. The comfort, healing, hope, love, acceptance, safety, and joy they find is just beautiful. The controlled chaos with this group is fun and dynamic, and they make me smile, laugh, and want to hang out with them.
The extra bonus epilogue is the just icing on the cake. My heart is full and happy, and this book was well worth the wait.

I absolutely loved this book. It pulled me in right from the beginning and I just didn’t want to put it down.
Gavin is a widowed, single dad, and is starting over with a new career in Brooklyn as an athletic trainer for the Bruisers. He used to be easy-going and fun, but now he has to be responsible and has so much on his plate to juggle. But he’s caring, supportive, and just a nice guy.
When he uncharacteristically goes out to a bar he is surprised to meet a guy that interests him and sparks fly. Until they realize one big thing...
Hudson is a hockey player that never seems to be able to achieve longevity on a team. He’s just been traded again and is starting over with the Bruisers. He’s trying to find his place on the team, deal with an injury, and keep his sexuality to himself. He is a bit broody at first but he has his reasons, and he is also caring and witty.
Two new guys to the team living too close and working too closely. But eventually, they find their way to a friendship and a secret fling. Hudson has never thought that he could be out and be a hockey player and live up to all the expectations placed upon him. And Gavin has to think about more than just himself and he’s already had such a loss that he doesn’t want to get hurt again. But even though they know that it’s not supposed to be a long-term thing and that they have to hide, messy feelings start to develop. But there are also some other messy complications too.
These guys are just so likable and so in need of companionship, care, and support. I loved their stolen moments but also loved seeing them intermix with each other’s friends and family. I really felt bad for Hudson and how much pressure he put on himself. He is scared of his sexuality hurting his career and of losing his place on the team as well as trusting someone with his heart. And I also felt bad for Gavin because his situation is complex and he’s going it alone as a single dad. The circumstances surrounding them are just hard and at times they are just not sure if there’s any way to be more and merge their lives and make it work.
This is a hot, sweet, emotional, player-trainer, single dad, secret affair story. There’s so much emotion and need between these guys, but there’s also banter, camaraderie, and amazing chemistry. I loved Gavin’s precocious daughter, and she never failed to make me smile. I enjoyed seeing so many of the Brooklyn crew. I just wanted to see everything come out okay for these two guys and they really did have a lot of challenges both within themselves and with possible repercussions. And there was a moment that I swear my heart just broke and I was wanting to throw my kindle across the room but at the same time had to grab it and keep reading.
I’m hoping that we may see some spinoff books from some of the new characters that were introduced toward the end. I’ve always been a fan of her Brooklyn series M/F books, but I have to say that this M/M book exceeded my expectations. I am so happy that she wrote an M/M story within this universe with two amazing heroes and I would love to see more.
Meet Me In The Blue is a captivating, emotional, childhood best friends-to-lovers, demi-awakening, soulmates, small town, coming home story. It pulledMeet Me In The Blue is a captivating, emotional, childhood best friends-to-lovers, demi-awakening, soulmates, small town, coming home story. It pulled me in from the very beginning and I did not want to put it down. Told with flashbacks and present time we see Luka and Rook connect from their first meeting and get to see snapshots of their lives.
Luka moved to Hemlock Harbor as an unhappy nine-year-old and became fast friends with the son of his dad's business partner. Rook was always more of a nerd and loner, and they became loners together. Their friendship was special but as they matured things became more complicated and some things were never said. And the older they got, the more they drifted apart and began to lead separate lives until years went by.
But Luka is now home again as a thirty-two-year-old man dealing with a sad family situation and embarrassed by his own failures in his life. He knows he pushed his friend away even if it was for self-preservation. He never wanted to disappoint anyone and feels unworthy.
Rook has deep roots in Hemlock Harbor, a career, and friends. But he also has had a void in his life he never could seem to fill. He is hurt and a bit angry, but is also good, loyal, kind, and forgiving. He has never really understood his feelings or sexuality so he has his own set of fears and insecurities.
But these two have such a soul-deep connection that you can feel it bleeding off the pages of the book. The looks, the touches, and the invisible strings pulling them together are apparent. And as they finally begin to communicate and be vulnerable in order to explain the things unsaid, it is beautiful to see the walls coming down between them. And for them to be able to truly see and feel for the first time what they have always been to each other, and getting a chance to explore just how much more they could be.
The whole theme and vivid imagery of Meet Me In The Blue hold such meaning. The flashbacks only enriched their story and the depth of their connection and are the building blocks to their present relationship. I loved seeing them both grow and learn about themselves and each other along the way.
This is a heartfelt, tender, hurt/comfort story about home, family, history, and deep bonds. Luka and Rook are just like two halves of a whole that did not survive well apart and fit back together perfectly. I loved their interwoven families. I am also intrigued by their friends Ron, Carter, Will, Travis, Ryan, Zach, and also the hockey players, Reese, and Bryson. There is a lot of potential for future stories. I cannot wait for Ron's since we met him in The Glow Up.

The Rest of the Story is an epic, original, unputdownable, grumpy-sunshine, rookie-veteran, romance with so much heart. It’s also about the rebuilding of a rag-tag team, hope, healing, finding a family, and the triumph of the human spirit.
Veteran Morgan Elsher finds himself traded to the team that no one wants to be on, but he didn’t realize why until he got there. He is usually a guy that flies under the radar and does not step up. But when he sees what is needed, he is determined to change it for the better and he takes the team under his wing. He is loyal, dependable, caring, and supportive.
Shea Darling is one of the older rookies, but he’s smart, talented, and has a positive energy about him. Together Morgan and Shea help support these guys to start rebuilding the team, but along the way they find themselves feeling more than they should for each other. And it’s not only the forbidden relationship aspect, but Morgan has a lot of issues from his past that have kept him locked down for years. Will Shea be enough to unlock his heart, and make him want to take a chance?
I was sucked into this book from the beginning. It rips your heart apart in places, but then you feel each little triumph and joy along the way with these characters. And it’s not just Shea and Morgan that you’re rooting for. You’re cheering for this whole team. It’s a slow-burn love story, especially with the physical aspects. But that was just as refreshing as the rest of it. I absolutely adored Morgan and Shea and loved the changes that they were able to make to help their teammates find their spark and love of hockey again. It’s truly a beautiful story of hope, healing, acceptance, friendship, and found family.
This book took me to places, and never expected right from the beginning with its original setup and then to the places he went with it. I was coasting along, living in happy Tal La La Land, and then I was just left speechless and repeating OMFG! The twists and turns had me flipping pages and perhaps cursing a certain author. There is so much more to this hockey story than I ever could’ve expected. And there is also a lot of emotional baggage that makes healing and hope so much more important.
I don’t think I’ve hated another antagonist so much in any book as the one in this one. But I was also so impressed with some of the other characters. This book is an epic and tumultuous journey that makes you feel every emotion along the way. And it is not just for the two main characters. It is for this whole team of guys who needed someone to believe in them so badly. There is such a connection running through all of them. You feel their pain and their joy. You feel like you’re on the ice with them when people are cheering them on. You want to just belt out their team song as you read.
And then, when it was all done, the author gives us two bonus stories, All Your Tomorrows and Boise Boy, for two of the other characters. I binge-read the book and bonus stories, and now I am just emotionally spent, but completely in love with all of these characters and their stories. Moogs and Shea and Brody and Lawson and so many of these guys will forever be in my heart. ...more

He thrives on being intimidating. And now he is in dire need of a new nanny who knows ASL.
Phoebe Bettencourt is his Chief's daughter and grad student in audiology. She has a history of being a bit flighty, and irresponsible, and is in the middle of her own life crisis. But she has the time this summer if she can win over Asher and get a chance.
Things don’t start out so well, but then it seems to be going well with their new routine. But temptation is real. There are several reasons anything between them would be forbidden. But maybe a secret arrangement with a set end date could be the best idea or the worst.
These two definitely have challenges. There are some interesting twists in the story. I liked seeing the characters grow closer and be more open. I loved that under Asher’s crusty facade was the sweetest, softest center. He has such a loving and loyal heart. And I liked seeing Phoebe figure out her own path and navigate change.
This is a snarky, passionate, and heartfelt, forbidden, age-gap, boss-nanny, small-town romance that begins a new series. I loved his brothers and sister and the new small-town setting. I am looking forward to Addison and Grady next. I also liked seeing a bit of crossover with Melanie Harlow's characters.
