Was this book necessary in this series? No, absolutely not. But was it ridiculously binge-worthy? Yes, emphasis on ridiculous please, because what the hell was this story. Millie, Enzo and their kids move to this swanky neighbourhood, Millie thinking that her life has taken a turn for the better. Unbeknownst to her, Millie and her family have walked into something that will disrupt their lives.
Honestly, Millie annoyed me in this one and so did Enzo. Both of them were acting so out of their characters that we've loved in the previous books. The plotline was messy and the situations and the actions to those situations were ridiculous. The epilogue came out of nowhere but added a nice twist, but most of the events in the book could've been avoided if Millie could've been her usual self, rather than this insecure, jealous and weird self. ...more

Yeah, it's safe to say this series has my heart.. This book has the single dad trope that I oh so adoringly love. The audiobook was well 3.5 stars!!!

Will probably get to it another day, but for now it's going on the DNF shelve ...more

I loved Stevie and Zander and all their bantering. Loved the fact that the book talked about issues like body shaming, mental health etc. Zander and his relationship with Eli Madison and his family was heart-warming to read. I loved every minute of this story. This was going soo well, honestly it didn't need that overtly long third act break up. Stevie and Zander really bought out the best in each other, and both of them helped each other with their issues, so that bit felt a bit unnecessary. Also, since I was listening to this on audio, the male narrator did not do a very good job while voicing other characters. Not sure why he had to give Ryan Shay a Texan twang, whenever he voiced his character, God that was horrible!
Overall, this was an entertaining read/listen. ...more
