This novel is a prime reason why 1st person sucks most of the time - at least 1st person with only one perspective (usually the heroine's) because it's not always fun being stuck in their head and man was Vanessa annoying AF. JenReadsRomance from Fated Mates had a review that was exactly how I felt especially about the way this book was written and it's narrative style which just did not work for me.
Ok, this is all to say that I *may* try another book by her because she is so beloved, but I'm going to have low expectations for sure....more
