±õ’m glad I finally finished so now I can move on to less depressing books. I swear , this book was 30-40% super sad. Ugh.
And I can’t stand Geraldine’s character. Her talking is sooooo stupid and gets worse with each book. It’s so annoying and takes away from the book. Heck, the reunion could’ve been emotional but then she opened her mouth and ruined it. Drives me nuts. I skimmed so much of her chapters.
And don’t get me started on all the extra POVs. ±õ’m sorry but this was a lot of filler. Lots of skimming was happening.
I wonder how long we’ll be waiting for the last book. Hopefully not too long. I will NOT be rereading this one to refresh my memory. ...more

Horus is now stuck here, in modern times and tries to make the most of it. Everything seems mundane until Evi walks in and sends him reeling. The universe is apparently not done with him yet. And it was super fun watching him squirm.
Even at the more emotional parts, I KNEW there was a reason. So hold on tight.

I had a blast reading about these two. They way they both were clueless about the other’s feelings made this a page turner. I wanted to watch them fall in love and I wasn’t disappointed.
Having cameos from the previous books made it even more fun. I love interconnected standalones!...more

Once I started reading I realized it was a Christian fiction. I haven’t read one of those in quite some time, but I was intrigued.
And then I realized there was a sweet romance as well! Color me extra surprised.
Not only did I get a little bit of Jesus in my book but I also got a little romance as well.
I am so happy I stepped out of my box and tried this book. I have a feeling a few friends will be getting this book for Christmas next year.

Nellie’s character was probably one of the strongest, in the sense that she did what she wanted, when she wanted, and with whom she wanted. And she didn’t think twice. She was in control of her life. Yes, her dad gave her the financial stability to do so, but there were still many ways she could’ve handled such freedom.
But of course things changed when the Duke stepped into her life. She knew what she wanted but when true love is pushing down on you, it causes you to rethink everything you THOUGHT you wanted. Especially if it leaves you alone.
I like the cameos from the past books. And I LOVED seeing Nellie’s extended family. ±õ’d love to read more about them.
I read an ARC and this is my honest review. ...more

Rika met Tom many moons ago but it was wasn’t the right time for them. Now it is. Although there’s a few bumps in the road they’re both ready to walk them together.
±õ’m pleasantly surprised I enjoyed this book. ±õ’ll admit I wasn’t too excited to read about Tom’s story. Let’s be real, he had his chance for a love story. I don’t wanna rehash his mistakes. I wanted to read about the kids.
But alas, that’s not what we got.
Now that this bit of drama is done I look forward to reading about the children. The next book should be interesting. ...more
