I am not going to rate this thing, what was I even reading, and why. Here we have a zombie narrating his life, and i have to admit sometimes when I am not lost in whatever Zebulon was describing I was intrigued, other than that it was like reading an academic research paper , you might understand it as a whole, but many words needed a research trip on its own, it was tiring , the character is not someone to root for, he is pathetic, a coward and talented in making the wrong decision EVERY SINGLE TIME.. it has a macabre layer throughout the decades it takes you to read it, but have to admit, Zebulon managed to make me smile once or twice, and the plot succeeded to grasp my attention from time to time, but I just wanted it to finish it , and I cant believe it is only volume 1 , part of me wants to know what will happen next, but not now, and don't know when.. I wished it to be better than this, i wanted it it be with at least a likable protagonist ,Alas Zebulon Finch is a forever teenager scum!...more
