I have to say that I found the first half of the book to be quite boring. I didn’t fully get into the story until the last half and even then I felt I could take it or leave it. By the end, I did enjoy certain characters and their interactions. I also really liked the hero in the book, and I especially loved how he was able to accept Cheyenne even with all of her mental issues. Her struggles with anxiety and her other psychological issues made me really feel for her... I found her very strong in the way she tried so hard to cope and function in society. This was definitely the part of the story that grabbed my attention the most!
All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys an angsty read. I am fairly certain that readers will like this a lot more than me because of my distractions while reading this! Tijan is a go to author for me and she will continue to be!...more

What an amazing ending to a wonderful series! I fell in love with the Brayshaw Boys, as well as the young women they fell in love with!! This last book in particular was so fabulous! I will admit that Royce’s behaviour was terribly frustrating at times... but when he finally let his walls down for Brielle... the wait was more than worth it!
Speaking of Brielle... she was one of those heroine’s that was impossible not to adore! There was such a vulnerability and innocence to her that she ended up being one of my all time favourite leading ladies!!! Even with her gentleness though, she had a will of steel!! She was able to grab the hardest of the brother’s attention and there was no turning back for him!
This series is full of secrets, loyalty, love, sex, and violence! If you want to be entertained then for sure give the series a try!!! I can’t wait to see what this author will bring out next!!!...more

The main reason for my slight disappointment was Captain’s actions at some points in the story. I definitely understand why he did certain things but they still majorly pissed me off!!
The fact is when it comes to this series, I am fully absorbed into everything that’s going on. It’s like I am feeling right alongside the characters and what they are feeling! I love stories like that! This whole series has been that way for me!
If your weakness is high school angst and a new adult vibe, then you really should check out this series! You will fall in love with the Brayshaw family just like I did!!! Next up is Royce’s book and I can’t wait for it to come!!!!...more

Tucker and Sabrina had major hot chemistry as well and I loved every hook up they had! The only reason for my four stars was Sabrina.. she annoyed me. I felt Tucker gave her every part of himself; where as she held out on him until the very end. I would have liked to see her give a lot more to him. Tucker was amazing... just a sweetheart and stand up kind of guy. He deserved so much better than he got.
This series has been awesome and very entertaining! I am eager to start the spin off series � Briar U�! If it’s anything like this one, then I will love it too!!! Moving onto it right away!...more

Once again I thoroughly enjoyed another instalment of the Briar- U series! This is the third book and it’s Hunter and Demi’s story!

I will admit that I wasn’t big on Hunter in the last book. To me he was way to easy with his sexual favours... basically way too promiscuous for my taste!!! In this book though he has taken a vow of celibacy so he can focus on playing hockey! He is now the team captain, and I will admit that I was able to see another side to Hunter... I began to like what I was seeing!
Demi was a great character too! In the beginning of the story she was with a longtime boyfriend; Nico... Unfortunately, the bastard hurts her very bad. Hunter and her have been partners for a major school project... and watching them develop a friendship with them was awesome! I adored these two together, and began rooting for them every step of the way!
As if I didn’t already enjoy this book... we have a ton of interaction with the hockey team! I love these scenes and I have to add that them taking care of their egg named Pablo was hilarious!!!
I highly recommend this series, if you’re looking for a funny, sexy, entertaining love story! You not only will get the feels; but you will have more than a few laughs too!...more

It was a fabulous read that put a smile on my face, and warm feelings in my heart!! With the two authors that co-wrote this book, I should have known it would be a brilliant story! Both Samantha Young and Kristen Callihan have written stories in the past that I have enjoyed. Now that they put their heads together, they could not fail! My fingers are crossed that they will continue on with this world and characters they created!
As for the main characters; Rhys and Parker, I fell in love with them immediately! They started out as pretend boyfriend/girlfriend, but it didn’t take long for them to realize their feelings were becoming more real rather than pretend! Rhys is going on my favourite heroes list! There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about him!! When this couple was together they were so entertaining! They made me laugh out loud more than once! The paintball scene was perfect and the sand snake scene was absolutely hilarious!
I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fairly low angst read with a bunch of humour mixed in! I am definitely marking this story as my best of 2019! Now my fingers are crossed for a story about Carlos falling in love, and Rhys’s brother Dean could use a lady too! LOL!!

She was sexually assaulted in College and can’t seem to move past it....Owen steps up to the plate and shows a side of himself even he didn’t know he had.
I personally was worried that I couldn’t get past Owen being a manwhore... but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by his sensitive side. He was amazing when it came to being gentle and loving! This whole story was touching and I am happy that I gave book two a chance! I highly recommend this story, and it could be read as a stand alone, even though you meet Owen in book one! Just a feel good read with fairly low angst!...more

I wavered between a 3.5 Stars to a 4 Stars, and finally decided I would give it a 4 because even though I had a few issues with the story... I really enjoyed Jackson and Charlotte!!!
This starts out an enemy to lovers story! The bickering between Jackson and Charlotte was highly amusing to me! I loved both of their characters and I adored watching them fall in love... even if it all did happen very quickly. In fact, I felt like a lot of this story was rushed. This would be where my complaint comes in. I wish there could have been way more depth to both of these characters. I kind of felt only the surface was touched on. Jackson was such a sweet guy; but he had a ton of issues under his surface. Rightfully so too.. his father was a major asshat and didn’t deserve a wonderful devoted son like Jackson. The argument between them ended up happening but was never resolved. This led us to the books ended and it just ended abruptly. I didn’t care for that at all.
Would I recommend this book? I most definitely would! I found that even with my complaints, I thoroughly enjoyed anytime that the couple spent together! I will always think of them fondly! I also loved the fact that Jackson was a virgin!!! It added to his sweetness!!! He’s definitely one of my favourite heroes in the sweetness category!!!❤️...more

( our heroine) I kind of felt like it was always Zack chasing her...I would have loved to see her do a grand gesture for him! Other than that I really adored their romance. Their sexual chemistry was combustible and majorly off the charts! Holy hell, when these two did the deed, fireworks exploded!
I’m not usually the biggest fan when it comes to sports romances, but I felt this story had just the right amount of hockey vs romance... there wasn’t any time where I needed to skim through hockey jargon!
I highly recommend this read, and it is going down as one of my book favourites of the year!!! ( trust me, there isn’t many right now!)...more

I was a tad bit disappointed in this one, only because our main couple never did have sex... and certainly didn’t even have many intimate moments in anyway.. If anything, they seemed to have more of a friendship going on instead of a hot and heavy relationship that I usually like in my romances.
Other than that though, it was a good read and I will be interested to see how the next book carries on in the series....more

We are treated to stories that include sexy hockey players that are very entertaining in more ways than one!
In this instalment we get Summer ( who is the sister of one of our heroes in the last series) and Colin Fitzgerald aka; Fitzy! They have been attracted by each other for quite some time.. but this is a major slow burn story so their attraction goes on through most of the story.. which I am not a fan of. They also become roommates with two other guys as well! A lot goes down in this book, unfortunately a big portion is the constant miscommunication and struggle between Summer and Fitz.
I still rated a four star because there was so much I did enjoy even outside of the couple’s struggles! The friendship that develops between Summer and Brenna is amazing and fun! They never failed to put a smile on my face! Also the comraderie between the guys on the hockey team is awesome as well!
With all that’s going on around Summer and Fitz, it makes for an enjoyable book even outside anything developing between them! When they finally do come together... it’s explosive and definitely something that’s not to be missed!!! I will be continuing with this series as it’s just sooo entertaining and funny!!!...more
