anything with girlies and their messy life is a must read for me. I really enjoyed reading this, though at times it was getting too much drama for me. I don鈥檛 have a sister so I don鈥檛 really know what it鈥檚 like, maybe that鈥檚 why. Anyway, all in all a good book and would recommend.

On a serious note, I loved the calm writing style. Some parts of the book made me stop in my tracks and made me read them again and again. I like the fact that war was mentioned and certain towns' history was discussed as well. I think it鈥檚 important to talk about these kinds of things to educate people. Lastly, I feel like at times depth was lacking which I think is bound to happen in the translation version.

I waited a long time to get my hands on this book, and I鈥檓 glad I did. Even though it鈥檚 a small book it still took me some time as it鈥檚 quite boring. I waited a long time to get my hands on this book, and I鈥檓 glad I did. Even though it鈥檚 a small book it still took me some time as it鈥檚 quite boring. With nothing much happening, after some time I realized that鈥檚 basically Fuyuko鈥檚 life, boring. Once you get past a certain point in the book that sense of boredom vanishes and you start to sympathise with the protagonist.
Fuyuko is boring, doesn鈥檛 know how to communicate properly, is an introvert, and is a loner. It did get annoying at times, which made me realize that the author did a good job. The ending left me feeling a certain type of helplessness. Ngl, this book made me feel too many emotions, from boredom to sadness, from thrill to a sinking feeling. So I would definitely recommend it. ...more

It gave off the vibes of a person who thinks he鈥檚 very mature and is always telling his friends to invest in crypto. Now you might be thinking that doesn鈥檛 make sense as investing in crypto is a smart move. I agree but if you鈥檙e living paycheck to paycheck and someone鈥檚 forcing you to invest and telling you that you鈥檙e dumb and have no sense of the future, I鈥檓 sure it will get annoying and make you want to punch them. But as the story progressed it became boring and repetitive. This book had a lot of potential if Sara鈥檚 story was elaborated with the flow rather than talking about the main event of the book in one chapter. Most of the book was focused on Emilie 鈥減ick me鈥� Dubois. Her character was very irritating. Just because you have changed your major five times and had to break up with your professor because of that doesn鈥檛 give you a free pass to sleep with a married man(for months). Then she was upset about her father 鈥渁bandoning鈥� her. He told her that he won鈥檛 be able to help for some time fixing the house as they(her parents) were going through a divorce and he needed some time to himself. Imagine going through all of that and your child thinks you abandoned them(don鈥檛 have kids). How self-centred do you have to be to feel that way? Her character became unbearable to tolerate. Moreover, sometimes you read books for the vibes only. Unfortunately, this book had no vibes and I was utterly bored by the end of it. ...more
