VERY heavy on hastings being annoying. i can respect agatha christie diving outside of the usual comfort zone of poirot solving a little intimate murder but tbh that's what i enjoy and that's what i want out of a poirot book. i dont care about this international crime ring! it just wasnt fun!...more

i really really liked this one and would recommend. it was fun and interesting to read. some people might not like the art style but i actually thought it was very pleasant and i loved the colors. i wish it had been clearer and more developed in its thesis though. i sometimes didn't know what it was trying to accomplish as a book, and the ending felt very abrupt and i desperately wanted to unpack things more....more
