I liked the story and the characters and the brittish setting... And even the part in Paris didn't annoy me which is rare (as someone that lives in the Parisian aera I have big issues with how the city in depicted in fiction most of the time...)....more

Nanette was a earth shattering moment for me. It changed how I saw myself, how I talk about myself and how I chose to occupy space in the world. It's Nanette was a earth shattering moment for me. It's weird because I watched it totally at random, thinking I was just putting something to have some noise while I was cleaning my house and it ended up being one of the most impactful thing I've seen in my life.
So I obviously had to read that book. And of course to listen to the audiobook narrated by Hannah Gadsby herself. And it wasn't a disappointment. I loved that book. I feel like it's one of the best memoirs I've read in a long time. It was funny, it was gut punchy and it was such an important read on so many levels....more
