I didn't understand how she let him fat shame her. That's something I hated.

Their first meeting was tensen and lots of fighting. Who is Drea? Why was she handcuffed so many questions, but Alek isn't getting info like he does he's taking it pretty easy on Drea. Now I'll be honest I did skip Alek screwing a girl near Drea and the other prisoners. (She didn't know it was him and it was long thats why i brought down the rating). But I love how Alek and her banter the sexual tension is high but like I said above ow drama causes Drea to push away since she isn't a homewrecker (ow said she was Alek fiance she wasnt). I'm glad Alek set her straight when she wouldn't flirt with him.
Beside that drama, they have other drama like that cousin who set up their sister. And I have to tell you THAT the TORTURE SCENE was good. I do wish we got to see more.
A couple of times in the story, you'll wanna shake your head at Alek and how he's willing to sacrifice his own happiness for his siblings. Like there grown adults Alek, you don't always need to save them. And im glad my boy Lukyan Is telling his brothers he might be fun loving he won't let his brother throw away his happiness for them.

I'll be honest I loved the first half of this book. Everything was going great the angst and relationship drama between Max and Sophia when his girl was rescued and dealing with the fall out. We had the push away the blaming between both characters. Sophia pushing away Max and dealing with her truama as Max deals with who betrayed them and tried to handle everything. My poor babies were fighting a lot in the first half of this book.
Then it kinda got repetitive near the middle. I did wanna shake Sophia with her back and forth, and all Max was doing for her, and then I wanted to shake both of them when pieces of the attack started falling into place. Suspect after Suspect.. and they sorta forgave those ppls because they were blackmailed or weren't the true bad guys. Which made me sad that they got off scott free... And the ending to me was a cliffhanger on who this rival was, who was this gang that did this. And now that Max is "retired" and staying in the shadows as Andrie takes over. We have the end of their story. They deserve their hea, but idk of felt not right in my eyes. Now book 3 is about Luca and his woman. And maybe we'll get more questions on who this rival gang is. I kinda wish it was Andrei and Elena book next. If they are even getting a book. Since she betrayed the family and they have a child together so much drama in their relationship.

What made me sad was that I felt like everyone was in different places.. pan was a loner in this, the twins were together, and Vane and Winnie were together.. I didn't feel like they were a group like the last books.. which was sad for me. And one spicy scene... whatttt I waited for that???

We got a grumpy billionaire boss looking for a nanny and that's where Sarena comes in, there first meeting was tension up the butt since Sebastian was alittle rude to Sarena and I really wanted her to sass back but she needed the job so she held her tongue. That was one of the reasons he hired her another reason something drew him in. The first couple days was tense since again Sebastian like to talk his smack, but the more they spent time together the more he feel head over heels.
As for Sarena even at 20 she knew what she wanted and made sure little Emme had everything she had even time with her cranky grumpy uncle. I loved that they did spend time with her, now onto the play time.
