Rue and her friends are at a party when the world goes to shit. Rue catches her Undead douche boyfriend fking a dead girl. She is separated from her friends and kidnapped. By a masked man who knows a lot about her but she doesn't know anything about him. She does try a few times to run away from him, but in a world with zombies, would you rather be solo and killed or have someone watch your back. The chemistry between them is good it's a lot of banter and push/pull for Rue and Ghost. Ghost wants to punish Rue for the betrayal she did years ago. Then we get the big unmasking, and the trauma and drama are settled. What happened all those years ago.
Like above, we run into the MMC in book 2, and honest idk how I feel about his story and Mal. Since he has a wife.. idk if he loves the wife or his deal. Since they have a dom/sub relationship. I hope in his book he can be redeemed for me.

So about 50% of the book was when they first met, which I wish was less, maybe 30% of the book, so we could've gotten more present time moments.
But Ash and Lily were cute in the beginning. The cute dates he did for her, the more he wanted to know her. And she him yes she was a virgin and he took that seriously he wanted to be the one the only one. He did inform her he only had one relationship 2 years ago. Now, the present time Ash is head coach he's always busy but not too busy to text his wife's call, and so on, he wasn't present. Missed dinners, date nights because of work. Now Lily is also to blame because she was working a lot too. So both had a part of their marragie. And I love that he took a step back from his coaching, and his friends/hockey guys understood what he was fighting for! Good bunch of friends they are.
Same with Lily friends even if they kinda handled her with kid gloves with not telling her they were prego because she couldn't. ...more

But when he kidnapped her and wanted her to open up to him and wanted her to be his sub his everything...it made Jennifer look a little weak in the whole "woman revenge" book? Maybe that plan should've happened later. On kidnapping her or maybe have a book 2 with more of a romance between them. When she was ready to let him in. I get what he was trying to do. But at that moment, I wanted Jennifer to do things herself.
And he saved her from the big bad, but she got her revenge on him. Which was good, and we got that epilogue with the baby doll sisters, so it's not the end? Maybe we'll see Jennifer come out of her box more. I'm here for women killing more pigs

We pick up right where book 1 leaves off poor. Amethyst is confused at wtf is going on, and she is taken. And I'll be honest, her being taken was one of the hardest reads I had to read. My heart broke at all the torture she was put through. She was slowly losing her mind and body. The only thing keeping her safe was ghost Xero. Until the real one came fighting tooth and nail to find his girl. It took him a while since he was also recovering from the injury Amethyst caused him, lol.
The aftermath was good my girl fought and did rescue herself then reunited with Xero. They didn't rush anything Xero was there for her making sure she knew he would never leave her again and they would get revenge against her twin sister and his father for all they done to both of them. They came a long way from the hate in book 1. I shed a lot of tears in this one. And I gotta tell you that revenge was well desevered!!!
I'm glad with what happened. The spice was still there, but it took a while due to what happened to Amethyst.

Now with this Wheel of kinks ;) he gets paired up with her. He hates/loves it since he wants to break her and make sure a innocent woman like her doesn't belong with him I mean the club lol.
As for Kayla she might look innocent but girl is a sub she has all the innings of it and she's excited and wants to show Pavel the grump she can take his type of pain. And boy she could from Spankings, to Humiliation she proved she can do her part. Even when Pavel tries to make her quit. Roman enjoyed being around her he went to the road with her because he was protective and didn't want her alone during this time. It was sweet and little emotional. And we have the family drama when they visit Roman and Elora sides. It wasn't a lot, just enough drama.
Saftey- MMC had a woman in his bed in the Prologue nothing happens, he also mentioned he wanted to use a condom with FMC because he had sex with someone awhile ago and wanted to be safe Besides that, nothing else.

She's going to a new school and we'll she didn't have a good first impression of Talon who bumped/touched her he locked her in a elevator and made it known it was open season for her. So yeah, right off the bat, they were enemies. She did make friends with his brother and twin brother. So it was pretty funny watching everyone tell Talon to knock it off. He was a woman hater because of his past. So yeah, the pranks and stunts they both pulled made me laugh and go geeze guys. But not all is fun, and games past things are coming back to hurt them. And Sin, poor girl she went through it, but she never backed down. She took that by the horns and fought. But the drama sin is going though had Talon change he was more protective of her and finally started to realize he cared about his spice.
So yeah, lots of drama. Side charas I enjoyed. I'm sad about one couple that I was hoping was the end game. But aren't. He'll find his hea with someone else. It could've been higher for me if that scene below hadn't happened.

They meet when they are looking at a property, and that's when he starts to hate her since her company wants to bid on the place he wants.
She does trick him a little. She wants to be a butterfly, Tara wants to let go have no worries and just be free from everything. So yes, a little bribe can't hurt, lol. They both get on eachothers buttons she pushes he pushes and he bids on her. She gets to be the butterfly and stay at the club for a month with a Dom of her choice she picks him. He fights the attraction and well be does things bad things as a dom when he pushes her. But I'm glad he always makes sure she uses the safe words.
There is a lot of tension and banter between the two. And a lot of trust when they finally open up to each other. We do get drama from her family, and I'm sad that her own mother would do and say stuff like that to her.
