This book felt like a rom com, i always get the greatest vibes from watching the proposal or how to loose a guy in ten days and this book felt like one of those movies AND IT HAD ME IN MY FEELS
AND IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER??? Luca was such a simp for Naomi it was such breath of fresh air from all the “touch her and you die� we get these days
And true to the rom com style, it really had light hearted comedy that i loved

It’s the first book that i read in these series but I had a lot of fun reading this book, it think it was very easy getting to know the characters and following the story even though i didn’t the previous ones.
I enjoyed all the characters but i think the one that I loved the most had to obviously be Starla, i think she had a lot of growth since the beginning of the book and until the epilogue so I loved loved reading her journey. Overall i had a lot of fun reading this book

I was lucky enough to get an ARC and boy let me tell you it was a wild ride. I’ve enjoyed reading this book, slightly urban fantasy, slightly hate/enemies to lovers, the banter, the dialogue, it is a very great start for Alice’s series and you can definitely see how much effort it took to put this all together.
“She scrunched her nose up in that way that made my stupid fucking chest swell. What is this girl doing to me?� Xander being a simp for his girl?? I MEANNN DO I NEED TO TELL YOU MORE??
Now because it’s a first book you need to have the whole world building it could feel at times that it’s too much info but, I definitely understand the reason behind it.
