I didn't feel a connection with the main character, and I don't know that i was really supposed to, but I kept reading just to figure out what the heck was going on. I probably won't ever reread this book because I feel like a lot of its draw came from the element of surprise, but it was definitely engrossing the first time around!...more

I spent the whole book waiting for a double cross that never came, which was a bit anticlimactic. I was expecting there to be way more of a mystery involved.
