But after a month I鈥檓 only 30% through this audiobook. So it鈥檚 just not the right time or format for me on this one, but I encourage others to try it and appreciate what I鈥檝e learned in the part I did finish....more

She somehow gets a job doing admissions at the Hudson Day School, even though she has no experience. There鈥檚 a variety of friends, friends of friends, parents, coworkers鈥� really too many people for me to keep track of to be honest. And 50% through the audiobook I don鈥檛 feel connected to anybody.

She doesn鈥檛 know at first if she will be killed or sexually assaulted, and she鈥檚 afraid her (also) kidnapped surrogate baby will be harmed now that the blackmailers can鈥檛 get in touch with her.
Apparently she鈥檒l develop some Stockholm syndrome feelings for this kidnapper, who in reality she knows? I鈥檝e read other reviews that show this guy has done even creepier things鈥� and other people apparently see this as a love story about lengths people will go to for someone they love.
