I always leave spoiler free reviews, but I must warn you if you haven't read KING and TYRANT yet, STOP what you are doing and #OneClick those bitches RIGHT NOW! They are a MUST read before you even step foot into Bear's story. I also must warn you that this does end with a cliffy. Me? I don't mind cliffhangers. They add so much excitement to a series. This one is a doozy though people. You are crazy if you thought Bear's story was going to fit in ONE single book. There is just TOO MUCH going on here. His story, Thia's story, it's incredibly heart-wrenching, heart-breaking, and heart-pounding. I still have a pit in my stomach from it, and I finished this a couple of days ago. Don't fret. You will see all of the reviews coming in, and people saying it's ruthless, harsh, and rough. But just remember, where there is darkness, there is light. Thia is Bear's light. You will find beauty in this LAWLESS. It is small, so when you sense it, hold tight and never let it go, because the journey has just begun.
Once again, Frazier has given us her heart and soul in her latest installment of the KING series. Bear is a bastard, but he is a beautiful bastard with a heart; a heart that was finally whole when Thia came back into his life. Thia's character blew me away. She has so much heart and determination. You can feel the deep and profound love that these two share. It's a love that is growing still, and I can't wait to find out what the author has in store for these two perfectly imperfect souls.

I thought I was going to make it through without my emotions getting the best of me, but that last 2% of the book, they broke loose and I succumbed to my tears. As they quickly ran down my cheeks, I was reminded how much of a force of nature this author is. She has a way with words that cut deep, all the way down to your soul. Frazier brings her characters to life like no other, giving them a realness that you won't soon forget.

We aren't left with a doozy of a cliffhanger, but it is a cliffhanger all the same, but I gotta say Hallelujah and THANK GOD we don't have to wait long to get our hands on Book #2!

Winters has this way of pushing reader's limits, forcing them to the edge, dangling them from the side, and just leaving them in a state of shock and awe. Winter's dark poetic way with words, and the fact that she is not afraid to push limits and take readers past their comfort zone, tells me that this author is one of a kind. She knows her shit and is not afraid to put it all out there. It's BAD ASS, and I for one have turned into a Dark Romance fanatic because of her work.
I can't talk about RUIN & RULE for too long, because I will just want to spill the beans and tell you EVERYTHING about it and how it just made my jaw drop to the floor, but I want this to be spoiler free so I will just continue to RAVE AND RAVE about it and you will just have to take my word for it! I devoured this book from cover to cover, eating up EVERY SINGLE FREAKING WORD! I was invested by page one, and enthralled the entire way through. THIS RIGHT HERE is why I continue to feed my reading addiction. I can't stop and PEPPER WINTER'S BOOKS are my drug of choice. She gives us page after page of raw, grit, sex, emotion, passion, intensity, and suspense. I was knocked back a couple of times. My emotions were ALL OVER the damn place, and I felt like I got punched in the gut a few times, but I wouldn't change a single thing. This book right here, is why I have such a passion for romance, all kinds of romance. Winters did test my limits on this, and opened my heart up to so much more in this genre. I can't thank her enough for opening my eyes to an intense epic love like this.
Even if you aren't necessarily a fan of dark romance, I would give RUIN & RULE a chance. Yes, some parts might be hard to read, and you might hate the male lead at first, but believe me when I tell you, you will get so much satisfaction out of this story. It will open your eyes and your heart to so much possibility and hope. It's just an incredible feeling that I want every reader to experience at least once. Be prepared this is NOT a stand alone, and the story continues in SIN & SUFFER, due out next January.

Which author, no matter what they write, ends up putting a smile on your face and douses you with a slam dunk in the romance department? Well the incredibly talented TIJAN, that's who! It feels like so long ago when I was introduced to the dangerously seductive Carter Reed and his mafia ways. I didn't even know, up until recently, that there was a Carter Reed 2 in existence! When that baby popped up on my Kindle, I just KNEW this was going to be a good day! TIJAN always paints a sexy, erotic, and beautiful picture with her words, and boy did she do CARTER REED justice in this next installment! I enjoyed the conclusion of Carter and Emma's love story so much! They deserve a HEA for the books and the author delivered like a boss!

It just adds another layer to the clusterfuck that is their life.
This author did a beautiful job catching us up from book one, and a fantastic job delivering on the sequel. Chock-full of suspense with a fair amount of incredibly erotic scenes between Carter and Emma, I was more than happy to dive back into this fast-track, sexy world of the mafia. Mob romances are the best for romantic suspense junkies, and I happen to be a major junkie! Past character return, and new characters come to light. A gorgeous and mysterious secondary character was brought into the fold and I'm hoping, praying, that someday he will get a story of his own. My fingers are crossed that Carter and Emma will certainly make an appearance in that one as well!

Now, before you start throwing stones, you should know that I have complete faith in this author and her ability to wow the shit out of me. I was told by reliable source that I didn't necessarily need to read the first book in order to enjoy this one, and they were completely right. Would certain circumstances have been more clear, more quickly? Yes, of course. But in reading DO NOT DISTURB, and falling into the rabbit hole that is the brilliance of this author, I caught on quick enough to not be lost in the plot. That being said, I absolutely WILL be going back and reading book 1, because I feel that it is my duty to this author to start from the beginning. But if you are a dark erotic thriller junkie, like I am, and you can't possibly wait, go ahead and try this out, you will not be disappointed.
The world of Deanna Madden is certainly one to remember. A woman with demons so dark, you can't even imagine what goes on inside a mind like hers. A woman who has had a touch of normal, and now craves that normalcy like nothing else. The thriller will come in the second half of this story and will make your heart skip a beat with every page turned. As far as I'm concerned, A.R. Torre owns this genre. I've never read an author like her before. I've read dark. Believe me, I'm a big fan of dark romances, but this right here, NOTHING can compare. With this being my first read from Ms. Ashley, (I know! I know! *GASP*) I wasn't sure what to expect. I just knew that she was a very well-known author, and I have received quite a bit of recommendations from some followers. I'm a HUGE fan of MC Romances, so I was excited when I read the blurb for Vicious Cycle. All I can say is, what a GREAT way to get introduced to this author's style. I loved it! Fast-paced, emotion filled, and extremely steamy, I found myself captivated with every turn of the page. This read is certainly not for the faint of heart, but you kind of know that when you read MC romances, in my opinion. The grittier the better for me. I love it when a woman can pull the softness out of such a hard man. It just melts my heart. I'm kinda diggin' the Malloy family, and I'm excited for what is to come with the rest of the series.
It was an exhilarating ride despite the gritty nature of the book. There were parts that made you flinch, but then you hide parts that made your heart go pitter-patter. It was a great mixture of both hard and soft, and complimented very well. These characters got to me from the very beginning. Throughout the story they were bringing out parts of each other that they never knew existed. Deacon and Alexandra were so different, yet so similar. They were each other's worst nightmare, and yet they ended up being one another's salvation. What a great story that just hits you right in the heart. Very well done! I'm excited for the future of this series.

These two made me melt. Naomi has got to be one of my all time favorite heroines. I love how her mind works, and how she stands up to the brute that is Vasily. I love the fact that she knows no better and she just states how it is. Most of all, I loved that Vasily took to her so well. He didn't care that she blurted out things at the most inappropriate moments, or that she didn't meet anyone's eyes, or her aversion to germs were way past the norm. These are all things that made her stand out in his eyes and his heart. Vasily turned to mush around Naomi and it was the sweetest thing ever. Naomi is no wilting flower. She may become overwhelmed in certain situations, but she got through it in her own way because she is a strong woman. She is a strong woman who gives this bad ass Russian mobster the pain he needs to just FEEL again. He may be a monster, a volk. But he is HER monster, HER volk.
"I want her to whip me. To command me to my knees and then draw blood as she strikes me again and again. I grow hard at the thought of the pain and then the pleasure she'd bring me."
Oh, writing these quotes from the book is helping me to remember just how beautiful this unique love story was. I've never read anything like it and I was just left in a big puddle of FEELS by the end of it. Two people, with flaws of their own, find love, peace, and acceptance in each other's arms. Together, Vasily and Naomi will chase away each other's loneliness and finally find that piece that has been missing in their hearts for so long.
LAST KISS is Book 3 in the HITMAN Series by Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend diving into this entire series when you have the chance. This sexy, heart-racing, beautiful and suspenseful series will quickly become a favorite for sure.

Even though this is book 3 in the Devil's Dust series, it can be read as a standalone.
I loved the rawness and grittiness of Bobby and Jessica's story. The strength and determination that these two characters possessed was amazing. Jessica steps in to a world she knows nothing about, but anything is better than the life she lived under the hand of her abusing husband. Bobby felt this fierce need to protect her from the moment he first laid eyes on her. Jessica feels afraid and protected in the arms of the Road Captain of the Devil's Dust MC. She knows she can never trust a man again, but there is something about this brooding, sexy, hunk of a man who brings out the feelings that she thought she put away for good. Is it lust, or is it something more?

Even though their kind of relationship is all sorts of fucked up, I couldn't help but root for their love. This LOVE/HATE type of scenario just does it for me. I love the intensity of it all. I love how it is so gritty, raw, and ridiculously emotional. I feel like I was slapped in the face as each chapter came and went. My heart ached, my head hurt, and tears would not stop cascading down my face. This type of explosive relationship is bound to have its ups and downs, but with Katia and Marcus, their history, their present, and their foreseeable future, you ain't seen NOTHIN' yet! If you haven't started 'Til Death, Volume One, be prepared for a filthy, hard-core, erotic, thrill ride that will break your heart and totally fuck with your emotions. Well played Bella Jewel. Whenever I'm asked to recommend a good MC romance, Joanna Wylde is the first name that pops in into my head. She not only gives us extremely HOT sex scenes, and super sexy, alpha males. She gives us an amazing story. It's always so raw, gritty, and emotional, and it's hard not to instantly connect with each of the characters that she creates. Ms. Wylde is one of a kind with her writing. She is in a league of her own, and never disappoints. If I'm looking for a sexy, angst filled, keep me on my toes romance, I can always refer back to one of her stories.
Puck and Becca's story is one for the books. Their first encounter is anything but romantic, but the story that follows is pure beauty. Becca knows this life, a life in the MC. She is no stranger to these hard, controlling men. The night she meets Puck, she is taken back by the tenderness that is buried below this rock of a man. She is scared, and yet no man has ever reached her like he had. Puck thinks he destroyed her long ago, when in fact, he was her savior. Puck can only stay away for so long, until his possessive instincts comes through. He may have hurt her in the past, but he will protect her for the rest of her life.
Some readers will cringe at Puck's approach to Becca and hell, to life in general. But I saw the gentle man below all that grit. This is the type of man that would kill or be killed for you. This passion that Joanna Wylde brings out in these characters is incredible and palpable. I loved every second of SILVER BASTARD. This series will certainly become an addiction, just like the Reaper's series before it. I will be counting down the days until I can get my hands on another Silver Valley book. Each addition to this series is sure to be epic, of that, I have no doubt.

A story of loss, turns into a story of hope, which turns into a story of all-consuming love and adoration. River Savage gave us two extremely strong, complex characters with minds of their own. The banter and the suggestive comments between the two had me cracking up at the beginning. The intense chemistry was right there, right up front, so you knew when these two would come together it would be utterly explosive! And baby, was it!
I was so glad that Affliction went back a bit to where Sy and Holly first met, rather than starting where Incandescent, Book 1 in the series, left off. I think that was a good move, so readers could read Affliction as a stand-alone. Please don't get me wrong though, you absolutely SHOULD read Incandescent as well, it's just not needed 100% before you start this gem.
Just a little heads up, the Prologue tore my heart to pieces. Ugh! God, what...the prologue is like 5 pages long, and I was crying the entire time. The first tear was shed, and then it was all waterworks from there. When you meet Sy in the first book, you wonder why he is the way he is, and after reading the first few pages, it all clicks and the asshole turns into an asshole who has gone through so much devastation. He is, in fact, a broken man. Holly is something his mind doesn't want or need, but his body tells a different story. They can deny all they want, but the pull, the connection, the electricity will ALWAYS bring them together. Through the ups and downs, the lies and misconceptions, the pain and the struggles, the past and the present, they will always be as one...lovers...friends...soul mates.
Gripping, suspenseful, passionate, and undeniably emotional, AFFLICTION is a MUST READ for all of you MC Romance fanatics out there! River Savage is giving these other MC Romance authors a run for their money. Keep an eye out for this author. I predict more hot, sexy, badass biker reads in the future!

There were some swoon-worthy parts and some cringe-worthy parts, coming together to make a pretty incredible, complex read that had my stomachs in knots.
Once again, Skye Callahan gives us a story about survival, a story about a connection so strong and so real, there is no denying the depth of a connection that these characters have. There are two characters here, that from the outside, they seem destructive to each other, unhealthy, and too broken to be fixed, always pushing one another to the brink of madness. But from the inside, they are EXACTLY what each other needs. The are two halves of a whole, soul mates if you will. They may break each other, but they also heal one another, mend one another, and complete one another.
BEND, DON’T BREAK was a dark, sensual, and at times, twisted and chaotic read that messed with my mind so good. I will never get enough of Ms. Callahan’s writing style, of her beautifully damaged characters, and of her gripping story lines. She is at the top of my list when it comes to this particular genre.

Ella James is one of those authors that I will pretty much drop everything for. This woman writes a story, I WILL read it! She has such an imagination. It's beautiful, erotic, and captivating. She makes us think. She makes us need and want things that we would never admit to. These erotic fairy tales of hers...they are works of art, and I can't wait to see what the next one will bring.
After reading the blurb for HANSEL, I didn't know what direction Ms. James would take. I mean, I kinda had an idea, because she has such a dirty mind, and I fucking love it! All you need to know going into this, is that Hansel and his 'Gretel' are NOT brother and sister. This story would have headed in the absolute wrong direction if that were the case! But this is an Erotic Fairytale, not a taboo love story, so no worries, settle down and breathe.
Instead of a cannibalistic woman in a house made of candy, we have a sick and twisted woman, whom they call Mother. She does live in a cottage in the woods, and VERY BAD things did happen there. We are only given a glimpse of what went down in that cottage, but it was intense reading for sure. Fast forward and we are driven into a club that mimics the horror of the past. VERY BAD things happen here too, but in an OH SO GOOD way. She was not expecting to ever see him again. When she sees her Hansel again, she is transported back 10 years to the moment where everything changed. He is so different, so pained, and so fucking sexy, and he has no idea that she is near.
What will happen next? I have NO IDEA! But I can't freaking wait to find out. Ella James has given us a start to something so intriguing and sexy. It ends in a cliffhanger, but what the hell did you expect? A happily ever after so soon? HA! No way in hell! Ms. James left this story open to go in so many different ways. LOVED IT! CRAVE MORE OF IT! ELLA JAMES you mess with our minds so damn good!

Ms. James gave us TORRENT and I was left with a book hangover for days. Now we have the sequel, RAMPANT, and I am immediately transported back to that place where my mind will not shut off. This series is like crack to a dark romance reader like me and I couldn’t have asked for a better follow-up to this incredible series. This twisted, disturbing, and emotional read captivated me from beginning to end. You will go through HELL and back with these damaged characters and it will gut you to the core. RAMPANT is not for the faint of heart. It’s about pain, it’s about betrayal, it’s about a love so consuming, so shocking, so fucking scary, you will not know what to do with yourself. RAMPANT will rip you to shreds, it will take the breath right out of you, and it will leave you raw.
Gemma James DOES NOT hold back in her latest installment of the Condemned Series. Suspense and angst like no other, Ms. James takes us on the ride of our lives with this incredible dark romance. This author tackles difficult themes like a pro. It’s gutsy, extreme, and so erotic, some of you will be questioning your own feelings during this one. If you thought TORRENT had one helluva cliffhanger, you ain’t read nothin� yet. Be prepared for a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers, and please hold on tight to that Kindle, because by god, you will want to throw that sucker up against the wall when all is said and done!

I will say this over and over again about Ms. James' work, IT IS HOT! The erotic scenes never disappoint. NEVER! She can write sex scenes like nobody's business and make your panties melt with a single sentence. But even with the amazing scorching love scenes, something was missing with me. Each part of this serial left me with more and more questions. The first installment got me really excited on what was to come, but what was to come left me with more questions than answers. There was definitely intense chemistry between the two main characters, but the emotional connection didn't quite make it work for me.
The ending kind of left me with my mouth wide open. It just ended, abruptly, and I know these are supposed to be short stories, but it seems like it was very rushed at the end, and I just wanted to know more. For the most part, I loved some scenes, and hated others. I would classify this as more of an erotica read. The romance, the love between the two characters ended up not being too believable for me. Even though, the BEAST serial ended up not being my cup of tea, I would urge you to try it for yourself. Ella James writes erotica, and she does it damn well, and I will continue to read anything this woman puts out, but this one just missed the mark for me....more

Ms. Romig paints us a picture so clear, so vivid, so unbelievably erotic, you can't help but be transported right to it. With a prologue that made my heart beat faster and faster with every word spoken, I knew, I JUST KNEW that I would be in for an AMAZING ride!
INSIDIOUS was absolutely thrilling! Fascinating, sinful, erotic, and at times, maddening, I was enthralled from beginning to end. The main character, our heroine, Aleatha created in this dark tale, couldn't have been more perfect. Her emotions played right off the pages and kept me transfixed on her every scream, every tear, every smile. My heart absolutely broke for her.
I had no doubt, coming from such a talented author, that this would be a great read. But this was so much more than that. Aleatha Romig is such a POWERHOUSE when it comes to writing erotic, suspenseful stories. Do you remember a certain series, with a certain character that you all LOVED to HATE? EXACTLY! The Consequences Series took me by surprise and introduced me to the amazing writing skills of Ms. Romig. Now, with INSIDIOUS, she brings us even more thrills and suspense with a touch of romance. Follow a woman's journey through a HELL like no other. A HELL where enemies become allies, nightmares become reality, monsters become saviors, and you can trust NO ONE. Just when you think the nightmare is over, evil is not far, and your mind WILL NOT accept it!
INSIDIOUS was, in one word, POWERFUL! Powerful characters, powerful emotions, powerful writing. It doesn't get any better than this when it comes to a good ole' mind fuck. Ms. Romig leaves us to draw our own conclusions in this sexy, dark, enticing tale, and after finishing the book a week ago, I still can't seem to wrap my brain around what the hell happened! All I can say is...I WANT MORE!

It played out like a sensual horror movie in my mind, having me cringe at one point, and biting my lip the next. I was conflicted at the beginning and after finishing the book, I have to say, I’m still fucking conflicted! Oh Ms. Silverwood knows how to mess with my mind so good! She consistently delivers in this genre, and even though, in my mind, there was only a smidgen of romance in this read, it still stimulated my senses to the core.
A woman in grave danger, and a man who pulled her out of HELL, only to stick her in HIS version of HELL. Intriguing isn’t it? There are bad people in this world. Bad people who thrive on hurting other people. Pieter is the lesser evil, or so you think. There are two sides to Pieter’s dominance. On one side, he is protective, caring, and somewhat gentle. On the other side, the side that eventually gains complete control, is cold and domineering to no end. One minutes you are swooning over this man, and the next, you just want to kick the ever-living shit out of him. Some of the words that he spewed, had me flinching and steaming at the same time. See what I mean about being conflicted? But in the end, I find myself yearning for that kind of dominance, that kind of control over my mind and body. I can’t explain it. It just is.
Jazmine is the victim of this story, right? Not entirely. Of course you feel sick for her, for what she has been through, but she has secrets too. Those secrets led her to where she is now. She can deny her feelings and her cravings for dominance all she wants, but deep down, she knows, what Pieter is offering her, is exactly what she needs.
These two took my heart and my mind on a freaking joy ride! I still have thoughts running through my head that I can’t quite put together. But a story that can make my head spin, my heart clench, and my cheeks blush, well let’s just say it deserves no less than 5 fucking stars!
With pain comes pleasure, and with pleasure comes pain. They can both deny it all they want. Make excuses for their behaviors, blame it on the ugliness that is in this world and what they have been through. But in the end, it is what they both need, what they both hunger for, and what they both ache for. While they were both held as prisoners, even with all the ugliness, all the torture, all the pain, Pieter tried to bring in some beauty, helping Jazmine to escape reality and use her imagination to take them to a better place. Keep that man, that savior, that version of him in the back of your mind at all times while reading this book. That man who constantly told her to ‘Never give up. Never give in.� THAT is the man you will fall in love with.
