The quote that stayed with me is "I'd rather have you 5 times a year than anyone else every day". I liked the professional choice the protagonist made at the end. She chose to live her best life. One day maybe she'll be leading me by example. Listened as an audiobook. The narrator carried the story beautifully....more

It is a very informative book who puts in order strategical knowledge that can be used in various life situations, and not only in war. If we look around we can find explanation of each point made, in the behavior of people in a work environment, in relationships between family, friends or enemies. The book can help us understand the motives behind some behaviors and the information contains a psychological as well as a practical basis.

The spiciness of the romance is also just right, and I'm really glad the enemies don't become lovers in the blink of an eye, as it would defeat the whole point of the trope. When I like a book a lot, I either will have a lot to say and end up saying too little, or I'm excited to find out what's next, so I forget to write a review. This one was fulfilling from start to end and didn't bore me for a second. 5/5 of course and on to the sequel....more
