Some feel better than others, but all in all I think it's a nice collection to complete all the storylines woven into Dark Nights: Metal.

DARK NIGHTS: METAL will be celebratory, huge and crazy.� And so I almost didn't buy it, cause really what hooked me into reading Batman was the grim, thought-provoking madness I tasted with the Batman Who Laughs.
Now I did buy it. The whole world is choking on darkness and heroes have to literally fight their worst nightmares, who in turn are just trying to escape theirs and find a shred of home. Having read some other stories of theirs, I'm like: Okay, not that grim.
I still smart a little they made the Joker that attractive... and some of the artworks were a tad off. But good story. Once signed up it, the whole narrative just swept me along in one easy going flow. Nice, simple and bloody as these graphic novels come....more

Having enjoyed Watchmen, I found myself hooked by the beginning. The story picks up speed near the end, though, and comes to a satisfying conclusion with surprisingly contemporary topics as part of the equation....more
