Really mixed feelings. My biggest complaint is that the audience for this book is self-selecting. If you are reading this book, you already know most of the information in the first 7 chapters, and as much as I hate the word, it is triggering as heck. Chapters 8 and 9 have some good insights about how to DEAL with the situation you already understood, and I might like to go back and process some of that again.

Some really good insights into the obesity epidemic and some ways (including medication and surgery) that it is being addressed, and the implications of these things. Personally I think the only option available to us is eating raw carrots and apples exclusively, but that’s the problem. Every solution comes with its own set of problems. I did appreciate the balanced and informative approach this book took and I may go find some other books by this author.
