I do think reading the reading book in this series before picking up this book would give you a lot of background on characters and what is going through this book. The thing that made Jaime Solaro go after the main character in this book happened in the first book. This book is full of drama, action, suspense, and a little romance and steamy times. I really enjoyed this, and there was so much going on I did not want to put this book down. I really love getting to know the characters in the book more. The ending was great.
