Or maybe it is later and Hope has been born. Who can tell. At least Henry's relationship with Abigail apparently survived. Pretty good use of the characters. And Armor is a good add. I'm generally not one for memoirs. But apparently many of the more popular well thought of graphic novels are memoirs - so at this point I've read a fI'm generally not one for memoirs. But apparently many of the more popular well thought of graphic novels are memoirs - so at this point I've read a few. And hey when you are reading the best of something, it should be good. And this one was. However starting a book with an awful dental catastrophe and then dealing with Middle School, makes getting to high school look like a relief. Very readable and not cringe-worthy (except for the earliest part of the dental experience). Can't say this will ever be a favorite of mine, but I would have shared it with my kids. Certainly it gives a different and clear view of Middle School and friendship and growing up....more
