I'm actually surprised that this book is Rekulak's newest book because it wasn't as good as Hidden Pictures IMO.
It had a good feel to the book with the father glad to be talking to his daughter again and eager to please her, but him feeling uneasy right from the get go about her partner. The more he got to know the guy and his family the more weirded out he got. He was invited to their wedding so he went with his sister and her foster daughter. And then there was a who dunnit/missing person case that the guy might be involved in and the father went deep into finding out who dunnit.
I enjoyed the whole "rich people" setting with this book that was similar to Hidden Pictures. The father meets his daughters partner and he's the son to a major rich CEO of a company. So his daughter hit a home run financially with her partner. Then the go to the families cottage for the wedding and there's like 30 cottage resorts on the massive land, with lavish service and food being served. It made me want to invest in a cottage of my own lol
I enjoyed the fathers character, specifically because he was very upfront/no bs/no filter sometimes lol where I would have shut my mouth or said something a little softer he says things right as they are and it startles the other characters lol but it was kinda refreshing.
But the ending... was really meh to me. Even the title is meh to the whole story. The ending was kinda farfetched....more

With real life examples and anecdotes this book makes economics easier to learn.
I've become a fan of Kyla Scanlon, she makes great video content on Instagram about the economy.
I would have rated it 5/5 stars but it was a looooot to do with America's economy with very minimal about the rest of the world, granted she is American.
I loved the little doodles and pictures she adds, she makes it cute and fun....more

Huge emphasis on the American markets but it's for Americans to learn about the economy. I learned quite a bit from this little book. It simplified a lot of concepts effectively. I just didn't like when they would deep dive into American specific history that I didn't really care that much for. ...more

Some of the studies are a stretch though and I don't know how much I trust it, but you get the general gist of what Dispenza is trying to show/prove.
I felt like it was really long and very repetitive which disengaged me quite a bit but I still feel like it was a decent read and worthwhile. There's so much we don't know or understand about energy, waves, vibrations, matter, and the brain, it's really interesting if we can control it more and tweak the brain and our thoughts to more of what we want. ...more

At the end of the day what makes people truly happy and gives you a healthy longevity is the quality of your relationships. Sure money is great but we all need to focus more on building and strengthening our relationships because that feeds into every aspect of our lives.
It's so important to feel connected to people and to be able to express and communicate what our feelings, thoughts, judgements, concerns etc are. It's important HOW we express and communicate all this. And it's also very important to be a good listener in a conversation. It's lastly important to have those tough conversations, and be open minded, be vulnerable yourself, and give validation to people when they need it instead of sometimes just trying to figure out their issues practically.
I would have rated it a 5/5 star but I felt like there was a bit of fluff in there that wasn't really that necessary to include in the book, like the racism and discrimination part....more
