did not like it

I'm almost tempted to give this book 5 stars for sheer entertainment value. Don't get me wrong, it was both terribly written and just batshit crazy, but I haven't laughed this much about a piece of writing in a long time.
Having never read anything by Musso, I expected a standard, easy romcom - just what I was looking for after finishing the wonderful but extremely depressing Dead Zone. Little did I know that I would soon be thrown into a world of multiple feuding mafia families, several faked deaths and several attempted suicides and, my all time favorite: sharks that are used to dispose of dead bodies.
I would never recommend this book to anyone, but I can't say that I wasn't 100% entertained by it's unexpected insanity.

Anamarija I have to say I agree. Dunno what is the fuss about this author.

Anja I agree! What nonsense! And way too many strange coincidences for my liking...
Also, like you, i intended to read something romantic, not a crime story, including mutilations and rape threats.
I especially don't like stories, where it seems to be ok for the leading woman to slap someone across the face for insulting her. Are we back to the 20's???

Rikke I agree! It was one of the poorest books I have read for a long time!

Naelie I mean.. It can't be worse than The girl of Brooklyn (No shade but kinda) and yeah totally agree

Barbara Totally agree with you. This book is one of worst books I have ever read. I really do not understand how the hell he got famous with this kind of writting. I m under impression that a child wrote it. But, a child would have written it better. This is like some kind of nonsence collage.

leituras.dela I agree entirely!
