Let me first say that it took me a very long time to read this book. I won an e copy but didn't own a reader so it was on my desktop. It was impossible for me to sit at the computer to read a book. So with my birthday approaching and the new Kindle coming out a few weeks later I had my husband get me one - just so I could read ALPHA. Thank heaven! The book is fantastic. In fact the entire series is one of the best I've ever read!

Alpha is the final chapter of Faythe Sanders ascending to Alpha. It begins with Faythe still not knowing who to be with, Marc or Jace. She loves them both. They travel to Montana once again to present proof to the council of Malone's involvement in the death of the Thunderbird. Nothing works as it should and Malone arrests Faythe, Marc and Jace to be tried for murder and many other crimes. The big chicken has taken to using guns as well. Faythe beaks loose and frees Marc and Jace. The SW Pride takes a stand and looses. Faythe becomes Alpha but the council will not confirm her.

Malone hand picks the new SW Pride Alpha (Parker's brother) and Faythe challenges him. Colin Dean fights for Kent and nearly kills Faythe. They are all thrown off the ranch and go to Marc's house in the free territory.

Faythe plans to take back what belongs to her Pride. The Thunderbirds debt is called in.

Marc can't take being around Faythe when she won't choose him over Jace and he leaves. Faythe is destroyed but pulls it together for the war that is about to occur.
