Walls is a great author (read The Glass Castle) and this story is a great retelling of Walls' grandmother's adventure of a life. Lily Casey Smith was a rancher, horse trainer and racer, teacher, pilot, mother, moonshine seller, and taxi driver in the unsettled West. She worked hard her whole life and gave her all to everything she did. A very enjoyable book
