This was a graphic look into the world of meat and it may have been the original Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal, but that just isn't what I am looking for in a book.

Anna I remember reading it in high school & being deathly afraid of hot dogs for a few weeks -- which is not a good thing in Chicago. =-O

Sharyl Agreed. I do not have the courage to read this. I did read Fast Food Nation, and found it fascinating--and that's enough for me.

Eivind Sinclair's intention was to portray working class living condition and exploitation, but it seems more people read it as you did.

Samuel Pichet This book is not about the meat industry. And, books are the medium of ideas. They should cover all part of these ones.
