Alrighty ladies and gents.
I'm back.

And I'm unsatisfied.

I was so disappointed.... SO DISAPPOINTED. It kills me that I have to give up reading this book, because I always have to finish a book, but somehow I can't bother spending one more minute on this mopey sashay of dystopian Earth.

I couldn't get through it. It was even too weird for me, which in itself is abnormal, because I bask in the weird, the freaky-creepy-twisted-screwed-up. So this is EXTREMELY unusual that I am not currently sucked into this world.

I actually don't mind the unbelievable future as I mind the annoying, mopey, boo-hoo main character. I find that I couldn't care less what happens to him, or what has happened to him. I can't be bothered to even wonder about Oryx, who, by the way, is the most interesting character in the whole book.

If anything, I'm disappointed in Margaret Atwood. All the books I've read by her were beautifully written and extremely unique, but for some reason this one lost my interest three chapters in.
