Okay! I'll just say it: that book was spectacular! :D I honestly did not think that I would love it as much as I do when I started it. It actually took me 120 pages until I really got into it. Even though it seems a bit slow at first, its totally worth it. OMG! I got so emotionally attached to the story and the characters that I wanted to throw the book at the wall a few times. (and it wasn't because of a pure 100% hatred that I experienced when I read Heart of Darkness. I still get furious just thinking about reading that!! ugggg) The characters just feel so real that you get so attached to their story. I just loved it so much that I'm going to re-read part-1 tomorrow because I'm not ready to say good-bye to them; and I didn't really pay much attention in the beginning to be honest. I was so excited when I heard that there is going to be a sequel soon, yay! My motivation to read classics has officially been restored!!

And after struggling through the torture of reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad (for school) I was getting my weariness of classics back. Its gone now though, yay!"

Classics are like historical fiction, but better. And after struggling through the torture of reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad (for school) I was getting my weariness of classics back.
