I didn't finish this book, in fact, I hardly started it. I was six chapters in and had to stop, because already there was TONS of nudity, implied sexual situations, implied rape, and homosexuality. I figure that all these people are going to find God later on, and change their ways, but I have no wish or intention to read about all their naked butts and sexual escapades. I get it, these people are immoral and don't know God.
But if I'm going to read a Christian book, I want and expect it to be clean.
You can get your point across without going into such detail, but even then I would still be uncomfortable, and rather disgusted.

Nikita Wells (Kita's Book Nook) Yeah, I don't get how people act like some of her books are SO Christian, and yet loaded with stuff no one needs to read.

Elizabeth Heidersdorf All that intimate stuff is to explain with accuracy what that time period was like. I understand how you feel that way because I, also, don't like reading books with that in it, but I don't think you should degrade a book with that in it. Especially if it's to accurately describe a time period in life to which nudity was a focus.
