Eat to Live: The Revolutionary Formula for Fast and Sustained Weight Loss

What this book preaches is something that everyone could do: eat more greens! It supports its point with studies and peer-reviewed articles, as well as anecdotes from the author. The book presents the author's thesis regarding good nutrition, and it does a wonderful job at supporting it. I am personally going to try his 6 week approach and see what comes of it.
My issues aren't with the information though, but to the approach...
The book desperately needs an editor. Much is repeated, and a lot could be cut off for its and its message's benefit. Of course, one doesn't expect a doctor to be a writer, but at least get some advice from those who are and shave the "extra fat".
Another thing that led to this 3 star rating is its preachyness and condescension which sometimes shine through, as well as the repetitiveness of how effective this diet is, how it will solve all of your issues etc. I also really disliked the approach regarding cancer. It's incredibly insulting to cancer suffers to imply that just because they've not eaten enough fruit as a kid, that's why they're dying. Very callous...
