Don't let the three stars decieve you: I loved this book. It had a very interesting storyline and I liked a lot of the characters.
"Fire" started out pretty slow at first. I felt like Cashore took a tad long setting the scene. Once the story got going though, it became very addictive and intense. I really enjoyed it, I just think that more action should have been placed in the story. I liked how surprising the book was, too and the love story.
Great story, I am excited to get my hands on its companion, "Graceling."
