The Heir (The Selection, #4)

I can safely say that I hated our main character, Eadlyn at the beginning of this book. She was incredibly selfish, inconsiderate, naive, bratty, and often downright annoying. Although she did make some progress throughout the book, I am really hoping that she makes bigger leaps in the maturity area in future books.
Aside from my disliking of our heroine for theajority of the book, I am really not a fan of reverse-harem-esque stories (one girl falling in love with/being fallen in love with by multiple guys.) At this point, it's difficult to really get your heart set on any one guy because she has "feelings" for so many of them. It's pretty frustrating. But, such is the nature of The Selection when you're doing the selecting I suppose.
All-in-all I gave this book a solid three stars because I did still enjoy it, mostly for all the characters aside from Eadlyn. And because I loved seeing a continuation of America and Maxon's love story. I will definitely continue reading so I can find out who Eady picks (I'm voting for Kile.)
