Hourglass (Evernight, #3)

ok, so maybe i should've done this review for a long time ago. i'm just too lazy and this is actually one of first reviews.
So, anyway, Hourglass isn't the best book I've read in a while before, but was still interesting enough to make me read it. It starts off where Stargazer left off, and there she is in the truck (or whatever?) with Lucas. So what happens next is up to you to find out.
Why did i gave it 3 stars? Well, here's the good:
-more action scenes
-more bianca and lucas moments
-you just gotta love balthazar!
-hahaha and a big surprise about racquel, though i'm not into that kind of thing.
-oh yeah and its fast paced and an easy read.
and the bad:
-BIANCA. oh.my.god. she has to be one of the most idiotic and selfish heroines i've ever seen. She's, she's just too...selfish. 'I want this and that. Oops, i never knew he was going to find out. Oh, wait i'm gonna go when its dangerous there!' But even though she's like that, she knows that she can't help everybody, and will escape without them if they have. But...(ok, this is just some spoilers)
she is VERY SELFISH. And i think that's an understatement. Lucas warned her emailing her parents will cause them to track her down and hunt them, but she still made a message to them, despite said warning. So now Lucas lost a close relative for her stupidity, and never told him about it until they did "it" (yes, when i mean 'it' i mean sex) so now he's really pissed off at her. and she thinks he's unfair. WHAT THE F*CK? IT'S YOUR FREAKING FAULT AT THE FIRST PLACE!!! and even though she was warned gazillions of times, again her ears and eyes need cleaning, so she still did it. Oh. my.god. i think the author's trying to make bianca a heroine with flaws. you know, like they're imperfect? but noooo. this is too much. it looked like the author pulled out the common sense that she possesess. she is just plain selfish, and the flaws are too much.
overall, good read. I like the author's writing style, and also how the story goes. and i am looking out for Afterlife by Claudia Gray
