bookshelves: to-read, dystopia

Actually, I really like the title :), makes me think of Lev...:)

I don't know whether to rejoice or start crying that there's a sequel to 'the best book ever- no I mean it this time dude', Unwind. Some authors and series should quit while they're ahead *coughMaximumRidecough*. But I'm sure it will be excellent. The ending was very open and that's how I liked it. It allowed hope and optimism.

The only thing I'm dreading is a Risa/Connor sex scene :P.

I don't think you have to worry about that. Risa's paralyzed from the waist down, remember?

Alyssa Also, Neal is marvelous at writing sequels. (I've read some of his other series). His quality of writing is never something you need to worry about.

Jerra Well, You could be right, because Risa only has to wait until she reaches 17, then she can get a new spine.

Gerriane I agree, a sex scene between Risa and Conner would be AWKWARD!

Tamar You're going to be so so happy

Matt Sex scene doesn't happen. :/

Juliana Doesnt happen in this book but unfortunately might in the next- and totally agree with maximum ride. I tead the first 3 then read the blurbs of the others and mentally (b/c i was at a bookstore) threw it across the room. Those later books are now dead to me and im content thinking that it was only a trilogy :)

Laura W. Given that the book is carried by a publisher of YA novels, anything intimate will be skirted over, more likely than not. Nothing Fifty Shades, to be sure. But that also doesn't guarantee that it won't be discussed or that it won't happen at some point in the series.

Fifty Shades Disabled?

Laura W. Nothing graphically spelled out like Fifty Shades is what I meant.
