All I have to say is one word: Beautiful. You see, I could say so many more things about this book... An infinite amount, but beautiful is what I think of first. The whole concept completely changed me, the narrator, the time period, the love, and the deeper meaning behind all the confusing words. I saw the book as a girl with scars from her life, but on the inside it was a beautiful story waiting to be told. I'm not a huge historical fiction book, in fact, I've only read a few non-fiction compared to all the fiction. But this... Wow... Now I look at all the fiction, vampires, werewolves, superheroes, so very different. This book is one word: Beautiful, and if you want to know why, then just read it and the tears you shed on the pages and the lovely words etched onto the page will stay there forever because this beautiful story will never leave you...forever
