This book was incredible. It sucked me in right from the beginning and still hasn't let me go, days after finishing it. I cared about the characters. There were times I laughed, times I felt an anxiousness in my chest, times I wanted to cry and times I felt so angry at the injustices of this world that I wanted to scream. Abeleine, Minny and Skeeter were captivating. Hilly was the mean girl you love to hate. Celia broke my heart and Mae Mobley made me want to pick her up and never let her go. I would recommend this book to anyone and have many times already.
