it was amazing
bookshelves: absolute-favorite, cant-shut-up-about-this, life-changing

I have no words. I have a range of emotions happening inside me. Shriver did a number on me emotionally, mentally and physically. This reminds me of when I finished reading Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl". I am enraged, sad, annoyed, just in emotional hell really...

What a well written piece of literature. I cannot remember reading Fiction that is as good as this. Shriver is a writer for the ages. She weaved a plot from the very first word. She had me hooked and keep me until the very end, even then I was still hooked. The characters are well formed, deep, brooding and deeply entertaining. You can relate to each of them on some level even if you don't agree with what they've done.

I am having a headache, thanks Shriver.

As a reviewer said, "this book should be placed right next to the condoms as preventative measures". If I was having any inclination for kids this book totally knocked it out the waters, That is what I liked a lot about the book, the raw, honestly that Eva extended in her letters to Franklin. I felt her struggle, I felt her frustration, I felt her annoyance, I felt for her deeply.

I can continue for days....just know, as a reader, you are missing out if you haven't read this book.
