Never Let Me Go

The first part of the book is far too long and frankly boring...I have to say the book gets better along the way but it never really gets 'going' so to say...which is quite a shame because there are so many topics which could have been developed further.
I even thought the maybe it was the author intention to show the lives of the main characters that way...where nothing really happens, where opportunities are not just wasted (there are so many examples in the book) but they don't even exist in the characters' minds...characters...whose lives don't even seem real...whose feelings are so superficial...maybe as a result of what they are?
maybe this is just nonsense...
anyway this is a perfect book to discuss about...which is good...enjoy!
