This was my first book by M and I was not disappointed. I loved Bender and Stormy. Both characters grabbed me in a different way right from the get go.

This book is told through both character’s POVs. Bender did not have the best life growing up. Everyone thought he would turn out just like his father. But one day a man was sitting on his porch after school and changed Bender’s life forever. Now 20 years later he is back to where it all began in the town he grew up in.

Stormy is a very quiet girl who stays to herself and enjoys he books. She would rather curl up with a book than be a social butterfly. Stormy doesn’t realize how much he life is in danger until Bender literally walks into her life.

At first Bender tried to fight his feelings for Stormy. Stormy also wasn’t trying to find love or be in a relationship but sometimes life has other plans. There were moments in this book that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. There are also a few other POVs through in so be ready for one crazy ride that will leave your mouth open quite a few times.
